Gorgeous central Ballarat Home - walk to everything!
The Stable House sits right in the heart of the country town of Ballarat and all that it has to offer. Named because of the converted heritage stable in the back garden, the Stable House has been thoughtfully renovated with our guests in mind. It’s the perfect cosy home-from-home for your trip to the Goldfields.
Beautifully decorated and freshly renovated, The Stable House has two spacious bedrooms, central heating/cooling, & a gorgeous new gas log fire to keep you cosy and warm.
We welcome children, and love hosting small, well behaved pets on request.
THE PROPERTY
The Stable House is an easy 8-10 minute stroll to the centre of Ballarat. Our home is a tastefully decorated space for up to 4 guests, with free fast unlimited WIFI, a 50" smart TV, and plenty of books and magazines. We provide high quality linen and towels, plenty of cooking kit in the kitchen, and the property has ducted heating and cooling plus a gorgeous brand new gas fireplace.
Other features are:
- Two generous sized bedrooms - one king and one queen, both with heating and cooling, super comfortable beds, robes, high quality linen and electric blankets
- Comfortable lounge with new gas log fire
- Newly renovated country kitchen, very well kitted out to cook a feast or simply whip up a cheeseboard
- Newly renovated bathroom, with a fantastic rainforest shower and bath
- Laundry with washing machine and drier
- Large outdoor secure space, with outdoor dining area
- Fast free unlimited wifi, smart TV, board games, books and magazines
- Easy on-street free parking outside the home for multiple cars
THE LOCATION
The Stable House is located 600m from Sturt Street, Ballarat's historic main street, but in the quiet leafy boulevards of popular Ballarat Central. Our road is residential with very little through traffic, but with easy access to other areas of Ballarat and beyond.
Easily walk to the thriving regional food and wine scene around Armstrong Street and in Bakery Hill, and grab a coffee in the morning from one of the excellent cafes around Lake Wendouree (20-25 mins walk). Do some shopping in town on foot, and have dinner at the excellent country pub at the end of the street.
