This is an amazing property with an incredible location. We were so pleased to have easy access to the boat ramp and to have a boat slip on property! The apartment is spacious and well accommodated. An excellent value for the price. The lovely hosts were icing on the cake. We hope to stay here again in the future!
Great place for fishing, boating, swimming, sunsets are amazing. Sunset Cove has everything you need and more. We stayed for 7 days and our stay was perfect. Host are great people and helpful when needed. Thanks Oldham's for a great stay and great company.
The house, property, and the owners were amazing. There were 5 of us, 2 adults, 2 teen boys, and our 10 year old daughter. The boys wanted to fish and this was the perfect location. The owners had thought of everything down to the detail, they are not rookie hosts, and are the kindest salt of the earth people. My kids are already asking when we can go back. This is truly the way to do Lake Life!
Our stay at Sunset Cove was a memorable one. The hosts were wonderful and the living space and view was perfect. Sunset cove is a great spot for relaxing, boating, swimming, fishing and just enjoying Grand Lake. The use of the dock was a plus. Special thanks to the hosts.
This home was amazing and had everything we needed. Very close to the water and so much to do. The home was very clean and inviting. Me and my family had so much fun. Would come back again and again. Highly recommend!
We stayed three nights here and enjoyed the lake access as well as the place to stay. The mornings on the porch were so peaceful! It was clean and comfortable for our family of six. The host was very nice and supplied us with what we needed. Definitely would recommend to others.
Thank you, we had a great time.We fished a bass tournament. The waves can be pretty intense at the dock since this is just off the main lake as the big pleasure boats go by. We didn’t mind this, but be prepared to secure / cushion your boat in the slip.We like to fish from the dock too and fishing was great! From the dock, we caught blue and channel catfish, crappie, bluegill, white and black bass. There is a fish cleaning station on the dock. There is a place to launch the boat just about 50 yards further past the home. Can be challenging when the water is high but worked for our bass boat (water was rising 3-5 foot above flood level when we went). Water depth at boat was about 12-14 foot deep at boat slip.Had a great time thanks
My parents, my husband, and our two children (2,4) stayed at this superb property. I loved the walk-in access to the lake, moreso for safety than anything. My kids could've entertained themselves for hours just playing in the beach. The inside was spotless. Squeaky clean. Beds were comfortable, living room was inviting, and the front patio was perfect for morning coffee watching the early fisherman head to their spots. The owners couldn't have been nicer. I can't say enough good things-we can't wait to go back!
This is a fabulous property to stay at if you are looking to unwind and enjoy the scenery. The view is amazing! I certainly hope to return at some point!
The property manager was responsive to inquiries. The place was in a quiet cove and the view was nice. Very clean and spacious. The only negative is the property owners live upstairs. We felt like we had to be super quiet inside and outside. Also, the owners control the air conditioner to the bedrooms. There is a supplemental wall a/c for the living room and dining area. Overall, a nice place.
The hosts, Leah and Randy, were awesome! This is a cozy little cabin, well stocked, and very clean. Comfy beds. The view of the main lake was amazing. Very short walk to the boat dock, which is rare on a lake property. The sunsets are perfect!!
We really enjoyed our mornings on the dock. My husband fished while I enjoyed my coffee. The grill was nice and clean and so we grilled some steaks one night, and my daughter and I enjoyed the sunset from the rope hammock.
The owners are very kind, helpful and responsive.
The serenity point marina is 5-10 minutes away and rents boats, jet skis and other lake stuff. We would definitely stay here again.
It’s about 30 minutes to Walmart for supplies and groceries so make your list and check it twice so you don’t forget anything.
