Peaceful and convenient

A comfortable home in a peaceful location! It's close enough to the city to be convenient, but still manages to feel like a rural getaway. The property is beautiful, and the hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with. We're new to the Auckland area, and this was a nice place to have a bit of a holiday before getting into our own home!

Haven

Beautiful spot, peaceful retreat, only downside is the "smart" TV didn't have any useable, useful apps like Netflix etc. Decor was a blast from the past, but that gave a Bach like feel to the place, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll love this place!

Brett booked on behalf of his family who were visiting from Wellington. On there arrival he realized that his daughter had bought her two dogs and he realized we had a no dog policy but i made an exception to let them stay providing they didn't go inside and for any pooh to be removed so was disappointed that i had to clean up two right at the front door on the lawn. I always say if there's any problems to give me a call so was very surprised to hear that the netflix app along with many more were not showing as they were on the tv. Unless guests let us know of any issues we can't fix them. So we are sorry that this happened and have no idea how but will certainly get it fixed.

After a 3 months stay Susan left the house immaculate. She is a lovely lady and a 5 plus star guest. It was a pleasure to have her stay and highly recommend her to other hosts.

We are in our seventies are vegetarians and love the outdoors and garden and enjoy hosting people from all walks of life. Our property offers peace and tranquility if you want some time out.
We also have a two-bedroom cottage on our property called Palm Haven and we have achieved super host status for many years. The house is very clean and as we live on-site can help in most ways so please don't hesitate to ask.
We also have a little miniature fox terrier named Babe who is very quiet and friendly and our grandaughter's pony who lives up the hill.
We have an abundance of bird life and plenty of fresh air and we are so thankful for our health and the good life we have.

Why they chose this property

Our property is tranquil quiet and surrounded by birds bees flowers and trees and close to all amenities.
The train is a 3 - minute drive away and we have many places of interest close by.

What makes this property unique

Close to beaches and lots of great things to see and do yet only minutes to everything you need.
The train is a 3-minute drive and will take you to central Auckland which will save on parking costs you can take the ferry and visit some of the outer islands.
