Great cozy cabin with lots of space!
The mountains had lots of snow, so we decided to bring our kid for a couple days of sledding. The cabin has lots of room and everything you would need for a longer stay- though you'll want to bring laundry supplies if you plan to use the washer/dryer, and extra detergent for the dish washer. Check in and check out times are limited. Nice views, hot tub, close to slopes!

This should be called the Bear Minimum Bunn
First off, make sure you figure out what the office hours are before you book. I haven't stayed up in Big Bear in a few years and I've never had to go to the office first before checking in. Not until after I booked the cabin. I didn't find out that the office hours on Thursday were only open till 8:00p, which meant I was going to have to pay a fee to make sure I could actually get into my cabin. I would not have booked this cabin if I had known that was the case. That'll cost you an extra 50 bucks for someone to look at your ID and then email you the code to the key box located at the cabin. I get to the cabin and I'm just ready to go to bed and there's just one single sheet on the bed I was going to sleep on. No extra blankets, sheets, comforters to be found. Fortunately, there were a couple of twins that did have comforters and I took those off because I didn't need those beds. The bathroom in the master was not cleaned adequately, there was long hair in the shower. Went to use the restroom in the master bathroom and for context, I was just going number one. Went to flush it, and it quickly started. Overflowing. Only way I can get the wire to stop was quickly take the top off and lift the overflow valve until I could plunge it with my other hand. Water and piss is now all over the floors which require me to use up almost all my towels just to clean it up. As I'm bringing all my stuff in, the security door doesn't open fully because it scrapes up against the front porch. Just makes it a pain to get everything through. Carpet in the common area definitely has some stains and some of it even feels rough. Which is impressive that you can see the stains considering the carpet is a dark brown. My bed was comfortable in the master. The other guest in the second room with the double seemed to have no issues with their bed either. VBRO says the property is a little less than 2 mi from summit, it's more like 5. My billing doesn't match what I was originally quoted. It sucks because this is primarily the property management's issues but it reflects poorly on the owner. I highly recommend the owner getting another property management company. Do you want to get overcharged and you have very low expectations, I highly recommend this place. At least the jacuzzi is nice, but you'll have to get out before 9:00 p.m.

Cabin was nice
Cabin was nice for a quick stay. The normal essentials were there for use. I just didn’t like that we had to drive our trash to the local dump ourselves. Also, it was noted that we had to be quiet by 9:00pm, but in our last night the neighbor’s dog barked for about 2 hours in the middle of the night.

Not recommended
The property was only equipped with one trash bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper. The backyard had dog feces all over and the whole property was pretty filthy. Also, I tried contacting staff the past few days about some lost property and they have yet to respond to me.

Quiet neighborhood
Nice, quiet little cabin. Plenty of room and the fenced in backyard was great for our dogs.
