Our group of 9 women, celebrating my sister’s retirement, had a wonderful time. The house was clean and nicely appointed. Communication with Rebecca and David on check-in and check-out procedures were detailed and easy to follow. We loved all the space available within and outside the home. Loved the large dining room where we were able to enjoy meals and play games. Some of my favorite time we spent on the front porch in the many lovely rocking chairs listening to the birds in the trees, squirrels playing in the yard across the street, the beauty of the landscape, the coolness of the gentle breeze, the quiet of nature as most everyone had walked to town to go shopping. Early morning spent on the pouch to enjoy that first cup of coffee of the day was priceless. The weather during the time we were in Murphy’s was absolutely perfect in the low 70’s during the day. One day was spent visiting two wineries and tasting some very enjoyable wines. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We also had an excellent dinner at the Murphy’s Hotel. What a special experience and one of the best trips we’ve ever had!

House was great , plenty of utensils everything you need for big crowd, walking distance to cute little town of murphys. It’s an older but nice and comfortable home. Carpets could probably use a good cleaning. Rebecca owner was always available for our needs and questions.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the home. It was convenient to downtown Murphys, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs for our morning coffee. The kitchen and baths were well stocked with towels, utensils and everything needed for comfort. Clean, lovely place. Had an issue with the septic lines getting backed up, but the host immediately responded and sent out a company to fix it. It was fixed in a very timely manner, but we did have to clean up the... mess... ourselves, which was certainly a bummer. Great communication with host though.

We are not on a septic system, and were informed by our plumber that there was a backup caused by a guest flushing tampons and wipes, which they retrieved from the pipes to the street. I assume this was not your group, and I’m glad I made you happy and heard by immediately responding and fixing the issue. I regret that you gave us a 4 star review for something that was clearly outside of our control. Hope you’ll come again and that everything will be perfect."

Perfect Family Reunion

Excellent location. Five minute walk to all the fun. Well equipped kitchen for big family breakfasts. We played card games and then sat by the fire. Eight adults had plenty of room, although one couple shared the bigger lower bunk. We would do it again!

We stayed at this cottage last weekend. There were 9 of us in the family. Had a great time! Lots of room for everyone to spread out. We especially liked hanging out on the front porch. The rocking chairs were awesome and it was so peaceful. The owner was very responsive if we had questions and we appreciated that. A wonderful vacation stay. We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Our family of 9, including 3 teenage boys, enjoyed this lovely home nestled near Murphys downtown. The bunk room proved perfect for the teens. Plenty of indoor/outdoor space to spread out. Our family chefs loved cooking on the Viking range and outdoor gas grill. It’s a well-appointed property, in a superb location definitely highly recommended by our group.

We loved it! It was very spacious! I would have liked the outside tables and chairs to have been cleaned we had to dust them off before we could use them and the wooden awning in the front of the house, the paint chips were all over the place we couldn’t eat at that table. Inside was fantastic.

Wonderful large cottage!

Our family enjoyed our stay in Murphys! This place accommodated our family of 10 for five days during the Independence Day celebration. The rooms and beds worked well for our family and was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The kids enjoyed the bunk area and the adult couples each had their own room. We also enjoyed the large fenced back yard and loved the deck and front porch area during the evening hours. Nicely appointed…We would definitely rent this place again! Close to downtown Murphys…easy walking distance. There was a heat wave during our time there, but air conditioning kept us cool. Great communication as well. We are looking forward to returning.

We had a great stay. Location is three blocks from downtown. It was very walkable for all of us. The unit is appropriately furnished. Our problems seem to be with the property management company alone. In advance of the trip we asked if there was a barbecue grill. The property management company, Evolve, reported that there was none. We changed our menu and planned accordingly. Consider us surprised when we saw three burner weber grill on the deck. We were obviously giving false information by the property management company. we further noticed only one trash bag was available for a three day stay. Additionally, there was only one dishwashing pod, both requiring trips to the store. Perhaps more distressing with the communication with the property management company, Evolve, the folks to give us the bum information about the barbecue grill. Following our stay I communicated with Evolve, asking for an explanation about the grill and the missing household items. They wanted photographs of the missing items (ridiculous). Eventually, we were told we would not get a refund because our photograph evidence was insufficient. This suggests to me that the fine folks at Evolve are not reading their emails. We NEVER requested a refund or credit. Wow. The unit was very nice.

Gold Country wedding - groom’s family home base

We needed a property that would handle 4 couples and an adult son for the weekend. I looked for property in the area and this one really stood out for the room, the number of beds, the number of bathrooms, and location. My parents arrived first and were able to easily find the key per check in instructions. We had a great time and we are so grateful we were able to find accommodations literally 6 minutes from the wedding venue. Thank you!!
