Great place to explore Sequoia National Park. Short drive to entrance. House in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and great that the supermarket is close by. Make sure you have a map downloaded. No cell phone reception. Also have WiFi details before you get there! No note in the house saying what the code is, so we had one day with no cell or WiFi Couldn’t figure out how to get the fan working on the outside deck but lovely place to sit…just a bit dusty. Grill needed bit of cleaning. Glad that there was a sponge and dish soap, paper towels and various spices. All made cooking much easier. Lovely big kitchen.
Great location and plenty of room to accomodate our family.

Close to Sequoia National Park
This house was perfect to stay in for our trip to Sequoia National Park. It was ~10 mins from the entrance to the park and near a grocery store so we could cook in the house. The beds and pillows were comfortable and it had a nice TV for late night movies. However, there were stains on some of the counters in the kitchen (which we cleaned) and the floor was very sandy so I just wish it was a bit cleaner but not a deal breaker.
The house was fun to stay in. Beds were crisp and clean! The only thing we had to do was clean all the filters in all the airconditioning units. They weren't cooling very much and one had stopped so we figured it out they just needed cleaning. Some dish cloths would be nice too. Had to use paper towels and a sponge to wipe oven, table and counter tops. But other then that our stay was wonderful! Fully enjoyed it! We would book again!
We loved staying here while visiting Sequoia & Kings Canyon! We were a family of 5: Mom, Dad, 2 Adult Children & an 11 yr old Grandchild. The 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms were perfect for our needs! The large kitchen allowed us to save $ by packing lunches for the parks & cooking Breakfasts & Dinners there. But we’re certainly close enough to restaurants in town if we choose to do that. The neighborhood is great! We especially enjoyed watching the deer, wild turkeys & quail that would visit the backyard daily! We took a day off from the parks & played in the River that was very nearby, that was nice & convenient!
The proximity to Sequoia is PERFECT! Kings Canyon is a long drive but we knew that when we booked. I would definitely rent this again!
The house was good except ants are all over the kitchen sink, in refrigerator and microwave.
The common shower doesn’t drain well. The bed in the middle bedroom squeaks. The shower door in the master bedroom is difficult to open. The toilet in the common area is moving. The can opener needs to be replaced. The front door squeaks. The towels doesn’t smell fresh.
The house was spacious with an open living room, dining area, and kitchen. It is in a safe, quiet neighborhood, and just a short ride to the entrance of the Sequoia National Park. We are hikers, and we especially enjoyed having access to the washing machine and dryer and big laundry room.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. There were plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. Both bathrooms had hand soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
Some areas in the living room and kitchen had a heavy layer of dust. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, and dishes, coffee mugs, frying pans, and some cooking utensils had been put away unwashed. Too bad! It made the whole house feel dirty. I know the people who stayed in the house prior to us are to blame for the unwashed dishes, but the cleaning staff should check to make sure everything had been put away properly cleaned. We also wanted to use the furniture on the outside patio and deck, and the table and chairs were filthy.

Good family gathering place
Starting with the positive-the home is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There is plenty of room for 6 adults to gather for games, conversations and meals. There is a nice deck area as well as a huge living room/ dining area. The location is great for the National parks. The beds are very comfortable and there is very good water pressure in the showers. Bath towels were luxurious. Getting to the negative points- no extra pillows so we had to use throw pillows from the couch, but no extra linens. The kitchen was very sparse- No teapot or hot pot. Only a keurig No drip coffee maker, which was what the listing said was there so we had coffeee grounds no k cups with us. There were only 4 mugs for 6 people and 8 K cups. No air fryer which was also in the listing. Communication was slow- email only. When I got a response it basically said what you see is what you get. And the central heat was broken and we were not told in advance, or at all until I asked. There were space heaters which worked for the most part but we should have been warned - response was they’re waiting for a part. One of the dining room chairs had a broken leg which could have been a disaster if it hadn’t been discovered before being seated! To summarize it has a lot of potential but needs more accommodating management. And more kitchen supplies. There wasn’t even a spatula to flip pancakes. It was the most expensive place we stayed during our family road trip and the most disappointing.

Property has potential but not ready for vac rental
Stains on sheets, dusty cabinets and dishes in kitchen, food on utensils, other household issues, no window covering in shared bath. The water system reeks of sulfur so you should bring your own water for cooking and oral hygiene. The property management co told me the owner is working on this but also said everyone in the neighborhood has the same water issue. Only bath towels and hand towels provided. No wash/face cloths or bath mats. Unfortunately management could not remedy our concerns. Photos of these complaints and emails were sent to Evolve guest contact. This has been our worst vacation home rental experience. There are no instructions or book of home tips which would be helpful. The home does have lots of potential and the mattresses are comfortable but when once set has what appears as blood stains and all the sheets are colored we were very uncomfortable.
The place looks better in person than it does in the pictures. The host was awesome. The moment I had issues or questions I was able to contact the host via text and the issues and questions were resolved immediately. The host had everything we needed for our stay and the host shops at Costco, so it's good stuff. My family and I were so happy with our stay that we are thinking of a December stay. The location was 10 min from the front gate of sequoias national park. They had a hotdog festival in town. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Having washing machine is a plus.
