Wonderful, clean house with ample supplies of everything. The hosts arranged the house with many useful things that made our stay more enjoyable and show how much they care.
Great property for time with friends. Incredibly clean, convenient location, and a pool to play in. Amazing amenities and great space for families, or just a few people.
We found a very welcoming clean and quiet place. We enjoyed the stay thoroughly. And the location served as an ideal starting point for visiting the National Parks. We can highly recommend this property.
We had everything we needed for our stay! The large washing machine and dryer were a plus. We did laundry daily. The house and property were more than we expected and communication with the host was easy. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for quiet location and easy drive to town. We also recommend a trip to the Whistle Stop in Exeter for breakfast!
The house was perfect for us! Lots of space for us and 3 kids. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. The waffle/pancake mix was great for breakfast. The kids loved the pool, it was small but worked great for evening swims. Easy drive to get into Sequoia a little longer for kings canyon.
This place checked all the boxes for us. The pool was great to enjoy when we arrived, beds were comfortable. Very short drive to any stores and close to the Sequoia entrance. Ingredients for spaghetti dinner were left in a welcome package which I thought was very thoughtful. Having the cupboards labeled was nice as well, easier to find what we needed. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
We were very comfortable and impressed with the tasteful decor and useful information throughout this home. The home was clean and well stocked with dishes, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots and pans and appliances and linens and towels were top quality. We enjoyed the patio. And the landscaping but weather was too cold for dip in the cozy pool. Definitely a great stay!!
We were 2 senior couples traveling from Yosemite NP and spent 2 nights to check out Sequoia & Kings Canyon NP and this location was perfect. Very well kept, comfortable beds plenty of room. The TV in the livingroom thru us for a loop. :) The pool and outdoor area looked great but it was a bit cool for us. Loved all the orchards around us and how peaceful it was. Owner was easy to contact with questions. Great stay and would definitely stay again if we were to return to the area. Make sure to check out the murals in town. Thank you for sharing your home.
Donna was great to work with. She had everything one could need and VERY organized. As VRBO owners ourselves, I learned a thing or two from Donna. The simple things were the best for us, like being able to pick a lime or two off of her lime trees (we made limeade) and the nice little gift that she left for us on the kitchen counter. My daughter's favorite is spaghetti. The rooms were nice and comfy and the fireplace gave some wonderful ambience. Very safe area and great starting point for Sequoia and King's Canyon national parks. I highly recommend Donna's lovely home -- you won't be disappointed.
Clean! Clean! Clean! And the host thoughtfully had all the extras to make our stay wonderful. Right down to a welcome basket with a spaghetti dinner if we didn’t want to shop right away. Really appreciate the basic cooking needs and spices in the kitchen. The guidebook for the house was up to date and had terrific suggestions for meals. We went to Gateway Emporium for breakfast (yum!) and they packed us an excellent picnic lunch for our days in the parks. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Only regret is we were so busy at the parks we didn’t get to fully enjoy the community of Exeter.
We loved staying here. The house is located at the end of a cul de sac, across the road from an orange grove. Everything was so peaceful, from the pool to the quiet sitting areas in the yard. The kitchen was small, but well equipped with high quality cookware. The house was very handicapped friendly. No steps inside or outside the home. The bathrooms both had step in showers, and wide doors that made it easy for my husband, who uses a walker, to maneuver. Please note, there are no bath tubs, if that is important to you. We would gladly stay here again next time we are in the area.
This house is great for a family. Nestled in an orange grove, it is close to many activities and the house itself has plenty of options to occupy the family during your down time. The pool is immaculate and all needed items are available, from towels to toys. Kitchen is well stocked and user friendly. All appliances, including washer and dryer are updated and clean. Beds and bathrooms are immaculate and again, have all amenities. The town of Exeter is quaint and full of friendly and helpful people. We attended the 4th of July celebration in town and it was a pleasant surprise. Great food, entertainment and a really good drone show and fireworks to finish the evening. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
What an amazing property! Beautiful inside and out! The photos dont do it justice, this is a quaint “little” cottage that was deceivingly large, plenty of space for all of us to spread out and relax. Very comfortable beds and the amenities around the house were great. My kids loved all the books we could read them from the kids shelf, and my daughter loved the mini chaise lounge in the living room. The views from outside were great, the rolling hills to mountains on the horizon were beautiful and seeing the orange groves just outside was really cool. There are so many other things about this property that you just need to see in person. And the hosts were easy to get a hold of and took care of us so well. Cant wait to come back here again!
We have been hosting travelers since the beginning of 2010! We love traveling too, and know what a traveler wants to find.
