Good place, small ac made for hot nights (not in a good way)

When we first pulled in, we knew this was going to be a good home base for us while we were in Twin Falls for a few days. The house is pretty spacious, lots of room in the back yard. Property is centrally located in town and access to just about anything you need is within an easy 10 minute drive. The major problem with this house there is 1 AC window unit for the entire house. It was 82 degrees inside the house when we arrived and we never got it below 78. There are ceiling fans in most of the rooms, but we still went and bought 3 box fans to help move air around. Simply for the AC situation alone, I absolutely would not stay here again. If you like sleeping hot, there probably aren't many better places to stay, but for all 4 of us staying, we don't like sleeping hot and it was fairly miserable.

Hi Justin, the homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "I’m sorry the house was too warm for you. We have asked our cleaning team to pre-cool the house before check-ins to avoid having to bring the temperature down. It is set at 74 since we want a good starting point. It is noted in the Guest Book that we suggest turning on or adjusting temp upon arrival to avoid uncomfortable temps. Personally, we have stayed in the house with the outside temperature above 100 degrees, and the temperature in the house stayed at 74. The lower level temps stayed at a consistent cool temp."

Adorable Cottage

The house is so cute. Everything works good and is in good shape. The rooms are a fine size. The beds are in good shape. Didn't hurt my back at all! The yard is huge and fully fenced. Great central location. Such a fantastic place! Communication with host was great! Everything went smooth! Hope to stay again.
