About this property

Overland Park Home-Garage Parking-Large Deck & Yard.-Close to Highway Entrance

Our house is centrally located near the highways about a mile away and the popular downtown Overland Park that has shopping, places to eat, outdoor concerts and even a brand new Farmers Market. Close to restaurants, a great park just across the street (has tennis and pickleball courts), 3&2 baseball fields for tournaments if from out of town, hopitals for family members if from out of town for treatment.

Complete private home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, double car garage and large fenced in yard with a large deck that has a Weber grill. We have worked with a decorator to make it up to date and beautiful. The kitchen features state of the art appliances (fridge has two different types of ice) and a laundry area off the dining area. Deck is right outside the kitchen which makes it convenient to grill, drink a cup of coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evenings that has a great view of our large back yard that people love . The living area has vaulted ceilings with a glass fireplace and large smart tv above. The master bedroom features a king bed with a pillow top mattress and memory gel for comfort. Also has a master shower and bath within the master bedroom. Has a 43" Smart Tv. The second bedroom features a pillow top mattress queen bed and also has it's own 43" tv. The third bedroom has a full size bed. Plus a small desk to work if needed.

The Farley house has a double car garage plus an extra play area downstairs for the kids with a older pool table. We keep games and puzzles in the armoire wardrobe on the living room area.

We are a half block from the Strang Park which is historical as well as a great park. Families bring their children all over. The park was newly renovated that has Overland Park's first inclusive playground. Features to the amazing park are a 30 foot tower and slide, sensory tunnel, climbing cargo nets, in-ground trampolines and a separate toddler playground area, cornhole and large chess area.

-20.5 miles to the KC Chiefs Stadium/Arrowhead Stadium

-10 miles to the Plaza

-14 miles to the KC Power & Light District (downtown KC, MO), Convention Center, Crown Center, Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium

-16 miles to the Legends/Nascar Races/Children's Mercy Park major league soccer stadium.

Please note: We do have Blink cameras that does record at the front door and also another camera above the garage doors that does record. We only use it for safety since we do not live there. We do not use it to spy on our guests.

All bedding is picked up by our great laundry service each and every time.

We own four other properties: 797896 in Mission, our little bungalow 1827582 in Merriam, our newest one in Shawnee (2066285) and also one on the beach in Ft Walton Beach, FL.

We were in town for a wedding and this location was perfect...a quiet neighborhood but convenient to everything we needed/wanted. The deck and huge backyard gave us a great place to sit with our coffee in the morning, and to relax in between activities. The house was well equipped - kitchen, bedrooms, baths. Can't speak to the television as we never turned it on!

We had a wonderful stay and the house was perfect for our needs. We cooked a full Christmas dinner there. We also appreciated being able to use the garage for our rental car as the weather was cold. They wash all the bedding used each time and the house was clean, the laundry useful, the coffee options (Keurig or drip) appreciated, and it has a nice big back yard. Glass recycling around the corner at the library and other recycling in the normal house bin. There is a great park within easy walking distance. The owner was very kind, responsive, and communicated clearly. We appreciated the extra care and would stay again.

Overall we loved this home and the beautiful neighborhood. The only small downside is that the one bedroom didn’t have a tv, or fan and the bed was on the smaller side. But overall it was a great home and would tell friends or family to stay there if they came to the area!

We have been staying in condos or homes forever because I used to travel for business and disliked the closeness of a hotel room. Several years ago, my husband and I bought a couple of rental properties and then our first vacation place in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

We love to travel, have three grown children, a fur baby and two grandsons.
