This is a Quiet, rural lifestyle property in a fabulous area of Taupo!

5 bedrooms with two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen with a pretty mountain view…

5 acres of gentle grazing (room for a couple of horses/ponies) should you want to bring them too!! (Please ask first - as neighbor grazes to keep grass down - and u must pick up poo)

Plenty of parking in a quiet, private home. Enjoy a beer or wine on the deck with the view of the mountain or relax in the patio area and have a family bbq…. just a 5 min or so drive to town.

Plenty of riding for the horse enthusiast (large grass verges along our road, and the Taupo Equestrian centre not far either!!!) perfect for a couple families that want to get together in a quiet relaxing environment!

Bring the boat or boats!!! Heaps of parking, safe to leave outside as house is not viewed from the road..

Hard day, why not soak in a thermal hot pool while the kids play at the water park just 6 mins down the Road!
(DeBretts Thermal Spa and waterpark)… Better still go alittle further to Wairakei, better for adults to enjoy a quiet soak together (we highly recommend this one)

Dinner out?? In 10 mins you can be in the centre of Taupo, enjoying an awesome meal, (Dixie Browns is good) or you could grab a coffee and sandwich at Industrie Cafe just a couple minutes down the Rd or a no fuss meal at the Local diner @ Stag park (1950s American style diner), both great eatery’s we highly recommend!

If peace and quiet is what your after, not far from town then this is the place to stay!!

Please note this is a Family Bach and you will have to provide your own linen - sheets, pillowcases, towels & tea towels etc..

ALL your rubbish must be taken with you on departure please. (Including recycling)

Family getaway

My family and I absolutely loved our time there. It was spacious and quiet and peaceful. The scenery was amazing and we didn’t want to leave. The only down side to our stay was no clean dish cloths or scrubbing brushes which we purchased and left there as well as tea towels. Other than that everything was exactly what we needed. Would definitely go back again.

Supercars getaway.

Great house and location perfect for our big group who were there for the Supercars which was only a short drive.Will definitely stay again next year if available.

Weekend

Great batch for a weekend getaway with family and friends. Although we accidentally visited the neighbours a couple of times, it was easy to find and a great spot for people from across the country to meet. We will definitely be coming back for more bbq's and weekends away in the future!

Hi and Welcome to our little place of peaceful tranquility, away from the hussle and bustle of town, but not to far ;)

Hubby is a Home Kill Butcher and Mechanic, and I am a Barista and Bar Manager.
We both like to hunt and fish as do our 4 kids and hopefully our 6 grandchildren!
Rich loves to dive as well and most of the kids do too....LOL I don't like sharks so diving is not for me!

I love my horses as does our youngest daughter, we trek and she competes from time to time.
The youngest daughter and her partner and myself are all volunteer fire-fighters and first responders and in our down time this keeps us busy, but we love it!

We all love Taupo and everything it has to offer and we sincerely hope you do too!

Why they chose this property

This property is peaceful and off the road so is great for that relaxing getaway! Have horses?? Bring them too! We have an awesome road for road riding and the Equestrian Centre is not too far away either! (just ask at time of booking)

Either just relax and play games, watch abit of TV, have a BBQ with the whanau or just read a book here it offers that quiet roomy retreat.

If you are interested in things to do there is plenty within easy driving distance!
From hiking, shopping, bowling, swimming, boating or more chilled like dinner out then look no further!
