The house was clean and the kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for the week. The location was perfect. It is a block from the Main Street so we could walk everywhere. The host answered my questions timely and was very friendly. Great place for families.

The host was super responsive and helpful with one small concern. The location was perfect within walking distance to downtown and the Mount Prospect Trailhead. The house had a very spacious feel and the rooms were very comfortable. We will be back for some summer fun!

Awesome Stay

The location was beautiful and very convenient to town and Gore mountain. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Additionally, we were able to bring the dog which was an added bonus to an already great home! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home! Dave

Great house, great location

We loved staying here, the location of the house being a block away from the Main Street was perfect since we could walk to everything in town while still having privacy. All the beds were very comfortable and all the appliances seemed modern and worked well. We loved having the grill, the fire pit and corn hole in the backyard, we spent a lot of time out there.

Very Nice House!!!

We had a great time in Lake George while staying at this house. It was perfect for our large family gathering. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was awesome as we were able to walk to many attractions including restaurants, shops and beaches. It was also great that it was pet friendly too so our dog could come. Everyone had a great time and would like to come back.

Great house close to town!

We stayed here with three generational reunion. The space was laid out well so common areas do not feel crowded and perks like the outside fire table and cornhole. The house is so close to the lake and town to get out without effort. Could use better lighting. And make sure you bring your own knives for food prep as there were only steak knives available. Communication with hosts was excellent. Thanks again for a great stay!

Lake George winter get away

Had a great time! We were four adults and four little boys in the house. Plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfy, kitchen was large and the place was spotless. We used the dryer several times without issue. Close to all, had a blast at the indoor water park and at a local hockey game. I left something there and our host kindly offered to mail it down. Overall an awesome experience.

Spring fun at Loon Lodge

I was looking for a large house to accommodate our family of 8, a baby and 2 dogs in a lake side community…. and I found it! This house was perfect for us. Large spaces with perfect sight lines made us all all feel included no matter the activity. The beds were super comfy with each family enjoying their own room. The house was perfectly located to be an easy walk to the lake, restaurants and shops but far enough away to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The backyard was spacious and about 98% enclosed. Because we had 2 dogs, we did create two makeshift barriers to keep the dogs in the yard. We all loved the vacation and would love to return to this house to make more memories.

Winter escape

The house was as it appeared in the pics with a great location. There were a few minor things that would take this from a A to an A++. It is an older house that has been remodeled but the heat was not easy to maintain. The wood floors between the kitchen and dining room had some boards that should be nailed down better to avoid injury. We had 2 adults and 6 kids (from two households) and had plenty of room to hang out together or eat dinner at the large dining area. Pillows and mattresses were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked - we cooked every meal on site for 4 days. I would come back in the summer to enjoy the area.

End tables

A nice enough property but improvements are needed. Closet space in the bedrooms is non-existent. Some additional coffee tables and or end tables would have been helpful. Bedroom we stayed in had lamps mounted to the headboard with no way to plug them in. One of the comforters stank of BO and needs to be laundered. More toilet paper would have been helpful. Off street parking was great. Close to supermarket, package store and downtown.

Perfect Location for Lake George

Overall the property was great. Rooms were good size. Open floor plan on lower level. Stocked with games and furniture was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Some opportunities are to have more hooks for hanging jackets would be nice to have hangers in closet. Lighting in some areas was challenging and it was dark in main room. Bed in one upstairs bedroom is really far off the ground. Difficult to get in and out and could be impossible for some people. Internet was not able to keep up with TV and frequently was buffering. Disappointing that the entrance to the home is on the opposide side of the house from the driveway.

From the owner: "Hi Scott, thanks for the 5 star review and taking the time to leave us your feedback! We just completed a week of maintenance at this property and have installed new ceiling lights in the main room and dining room. You'll be all set for your next visit! With regard to the internet, Spectrum is the only option in this area and unfortunately can be inconsistent. For next time - many guests find it more convenient to load in through the back door. Thanks again Scott, we hope to host you again!"

Perfect location in Lake George!

This home is located one block from Canada Street(Lake George strip), steps to a grocery store, church, restaurants and an arcade. The home was large enough for our multigenerational group of 11 and we never felt crowded. The dining room table accommodated all of us for dinner and board games. We did have some camping chairs that we used when we wanted to sit in the living room together although the living room is huge with three sofas. The only things I would change are one of the bedrooms has a bed that is super high and a little difficult to get into if you’re short. Some of the cooking utensils need to be upgraded. The grill could use a really good cleaning which we did. When we arrived. The home could use a deep cleaning, especially the carpet in the living room but not bad. The parking area was enough for a large SUV and two pick up trucks. Overall, this is a nice, large rental and we would definitely rent again.
