We enjoyed staying here. The house was comfortable and clean. We found the furnishings very interesting and we continued to discover more things about the house and the property every day we were there. If you like to read in bed, you might want to bring a headlamp and your own reading material. If you like games bring your own. But we had a great time. The place could use some wine glasses but we made do just fine. I gave communication with property manager a 5 but I never did actually communicate with them - never needed to, so I guess that would be a 5.
I gave this 5 stars. Just a couple suggestions for the owner: The instructions said to take out the trash but there was just one barrel in front of the house and it wasn’t enough. When we arrived there were space heaters going in each room. It would be helpful to have an explanation sheet in the house about how the heating system works and what to expect. Last, we came home in the dark a couple nights. It would help to have a small solar light at the entrance to help see it.
Again, the house and location were perfect. These are just suggestions

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
No communication with the management company and the house needs fixing up.
The river rock walkway is dangerous. We almost had a couple of twisted ankles.
There were broken flower pots and a mess next to the house, where the covered patio was. We couldn’t use it.
There was a yellow truck parked in the dirt next to the house. Looked like it had been there for awhile.
Some electrical outlets in the kitchen don’t work.
Many missing and burned out light bulbs.
No hair dryers.
Front door will not stay shut unless dead-bolted.
Need more kitchen sink stoppers.
Hot water was only warm, at best.
Poor water pressure.
Carpets in some bedrooms smelled of cat urine.
In the Master Bedroom: no chair, armoire unstable, rickety, unusable, and dangerous. Broken drawer pull in dresser and bedside lamp provided very little light.
Overall: the furniture was not comfortable, the couch in one living room was unusable. The price tags on everything looked tacky.
I tried several times to email and call about some of these issues when we were there, but no one returned my mails or calls. Overall, we made it work, but the house was unsatisfactory.
Our large family (11 people) fit comfortably in this house. The bedding was comfortable and the towels and pillows were fluffy and clean. I was worried it would be cold but the heated floors and space heaters made it so cozy! It was well stocked with toilet paper, toiletries, garbage bags, and paper towels. I would recommend adding a few things to the kitchen such as small plates and wine glasses. I appreciated that it was stocked with salt, pepper, and olive oil for cooking. We cooked a large Thanksgiving meal for 11 people and had what we needed. The view outside was amazing and the surrounding land was fun to explore. Overall, it was a very good experience and fun place to stay!
