My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! The outside fireplace was perfect even though it was already May. The cabin was quiet and quaint with a ton of books for reading. Perfect for a laid back Memorial Day weekend!
The property was as described. Plenty of house hold items and anything you may need while on your trip. A dollar general is just 5 minutes away and grocery just 10 minutes. Was the perfect get away for my husband and I.
The positives: location is near the center of Hayesville however it is a remote hideaway. Extremely quiet with no road noise or loud neighbors. And it was clean. The negatives: two days prior to our check in we were informed that even though the listing stated Wi-Fi, there was no Wi-Fi and and more importantly, that four-wheel drive was recommended for the loose dirt and very bumpy driveway leading to the home.Had we known either of the two aforementioned important details, we would not have rented this home.Further, the bed linen and towels supplied were of extremely poor quality and, more importantly, there were absolutely no shampoos, soaps, coffee or, any other basic supplies that we've come to expect from our extensive experiences.

From the Owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the peaceful location and cleanliness of the cabin.Regarding the Wi-Fi and driveway, both details are included in the listing description so that guests can make an informed decision before booking. I’m sorry if this information was overlooked or caused any inconvenience. This is the first time I’ve received comments about the linens and towels. Based on your feedback, I’ve already ordered higher-quality replacements that will be in place for future guests. As for supplies, we do provide hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods, and dish pods.I truly appreciate your input, as it helps me continue improving the guest experience."
The best equipped , decorated and furnished home we’ve ever stayed in with VRBO. Very nice! The description explained there was no WiFi, so that was not a surprise. However, we won’t stay in another house without it. If there’s no WiFi, there needs to be at least a landline in case of emergency, and there was none. The very steep gravel drive was a challenge, but my two wheel drive Escape made it with little trouble. Overall, very pleased with this house!!
Didn't use the upstairs at all. We were there for Landfest 2022 at Georgia Mountain fairgrounds. We had beautiful weather. Nice and cool in the mornings. Made a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Due to battery candles sitting in indoor fireplace, figured you didn't want that one used. Steep entry hill, no one mentioned, but I have SUV all wheel drive, no problem.
The property was clean and well furnished. The steps to the main bedroom were steep and slippery. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was hard to find until we called the helpful agent, Tiffany. Murphy also has a Frontier Rd. It was a nice place and would plan to revisit in the fall to see the leaves change. Thanks for a piece of solitude.
