Was perfect just for our family to get away after my dad’s funeral. The only drawback is the location. I should have read more closely but the pool is a community pool a good distance away. Everything else was perfect

Galena getaway

We had a fantastic stay at our Galena cabin. The cabin had everything we needed for a great weekend. The fire pit and pool table were great amenities and we enjoyed using both. Tucked away in nature was the perfect escape and our host Dan was there to answer any questions that we had. Will definitely be back to stay soon!

Prefect Christmas getaway

Cabin in the woods!

Very pleased with our stay at this cabin. Perfect for our family of 4 (tween/teen kids) short getaway. The cabin was well maintained and outfitted with all we needed. Pool table in the basement was a fun add. We skied for a day in chestnut and spent a few hours strolling downtown Galena for the shops and restaurants. Owner was very friendly and quick to respond to questions via text. Great value and would come back again!

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed our time in the Galena Territory and at Serenity Cabin! Our teens really enjoyed the pool table. Great location, close to many activities. Property owner was great with communication and checking on us during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Serenity Cabin

Great location, great communication from host, comfy beds & hot showers! Plenty of soft towels for all of us! The kitchen and baths were clean. The cabin was older, and decorated in a charming north woods style. It is on our repeat stay list!

Great getaway!

We stayed at this house with 2 other couples during Columbus day weekend and everything was perfect. Its located in the Galena Territory and very close to downtow. The house was very clean, plenty of space for 6 adults, amd it had everything you need. Dan, the host was very helpful and easy to reach. We will stay here again!

Fun weekend in Galena

Serenity Cabin was perfect! A cute log cabin home that worked well for Grampa and Gramma on the main floor, grandkids and parents in the loft and son and wife in lower level. Very nicely decorated with antique/old time mementos, etc. Horseshoes outside, firepit and grills were all enjoyed. Added bonus was the single sleeper chair in the loft and great ceiling fan that kept the loft cool. Having access to the Owner's Club pool and amenities, even in the time of Covid, was so appreciated. Probably the best part was the responsiveness of Dan, the owner, to any questions and issues that arose. He exceeded our expectations. Rose from Davenport, Iowa

Nice cabin in quiet neighborhood

This is a decent, clean cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. We had along our five children and our small dog. It is not secluded, but we never saw another person outside, nor heard any noise from vehicles or people. The Galena Territories is very pretty and very quiet, but it's easy to get lost in!! Dan had very detailed directions to get to the cabin, dumpster, owner's club, etc. He also answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly...and was very flexible and gracious when the details of our trip changed due to our son's accident. He is one of the best hosts we have dealt with. The cabin didn't have a lot in the way of kitchen pots/pans/cooking supplies, if you are cooking many meals for a larger family, but we got by with what was there. The fireplace was lovely and very fun for the kids to experience, and the pool table downstairs was awesome. It's around an hour drive to Dubuque. Overall, nice cabin in a nice location, with a nice host. :)

We had a wonderful time visiting Galena during Labor Day Weekend. Our host was great in communicating and check in was very easy. The home is fun and it was great to feel like we were really escaping our usual hustle and bustle of suburban life. The nature was enjoyable. We loved the firepit & pool table. The owners club was a very nice option but we didn't have time to use the pool, although we did head over for the farmers market! Everything was as advertised and getting to Galena was easy. My only comment would be that the coffee pot did take along time to drip which is no big deal but the cleaning crew might want to dust more and maybe do a deep clean occasionally. Otherwise it was a wonderful get away for two families with middle schoolers and high schoolers.

Galena is always a great girls trip. We really liked the cabin. it was in a great area where we felt completely safe. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfy.We loved our day at the club pool!

The backyard area was overgrown, the house painting was not finished, and the deck was peeling with some rotting. Also, had a broken window in the main floor bedroom and a slider screen that was janky. Inside was cute, but could have been cleaned more in the corners and baseboards. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped. Had to have a contest to figure out where the light switch over the sink was. We had a winner of a dollar for that one! A beautiful area of the state. We really enjoyed ourselves. Overall it was good!

Beautiful Property and a Perfect Getaway

We recently had a wonderful stay at this cabin near Galena. Set in a peaceful and secluded area, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing retreat. The natural surroundings provided a calm setting that really allowed us to unwind, while providing very easy access to beautiful downtown Galena, which is a must-visit for anyone that has yet to spend time there.The cabin itself was very clean and tastefully decorated, with all the comforts of home readily available. It struck a nice balance between modern amenities and rustic charm, making our stay both convenient and cozy.The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. They made sure we had all the details we needed and checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction, which added a personal touch to our experience.Overall, this cabin is a great find for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with the option to explore nearby attractions. We're looking forward to returning in the future.
