The cottage was cute and clean, and the view was wonderful. Seeing the river and pier and sitting on the deck was lovely. We also enjoy the fire pit. We had everything thing we needed.
Nice little cottage right on the Rock River. Bass were jumping out of the water, view was peaceful and relaxing and the cottage was super cute with amenities included. We will definitely be going back!
The home sits on the bank of the river with great views. There was a canoe and some fishing gear available, though I didn't catch any fish. Convenient to access. You have to share parking with the boat house vrbo, which is not a big deal. House was confortable, though we weren't there much. We came to the area for a mountain bike race. We would definitely stay there again.
We came up for the horicon marsh bird fest weekend. Lovely place, comfortable and cozy. Great location on the river. Close to parks and town. Host was very helpful. Nicely stocked with condiments and basic cooking needs. We hope to come back and stay longer.
The location was a plus. Close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the peaceful lake setting. My husband enjoyed fishing right off the dock and having several poles and supplies was a plus. . Having a canoe too for use was great. We took the canoe out and spent several hours on the beautiful a lake. The cottage had the amenities to make our stay complete.
We hope to be back again!

Other than the bed being a bit uncomfortable, everything was great. Owner was awesome and very accomodating. Brian the maintenance guy was fantastic. Highly recommend this property. Very peaceful and serene. Loved sitting on the deck with my coffee watching the fish jump. Oh and I had a pelican swim by the place every morning we were there.
Super cute lake house with all the fun things to make your stay perfect. Besides going for groceries and one lunch out, we never left the house. More accurately we were always lakeside. This was exactly what we were looking for, peace and tranquility. Great communication with both the management company and owner. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip. 😊
Overall was nice! The inside was cute, and the back yard was clean and spacious. The kitchen and rooms were clean and provided us with all the essentials. The temp was good and the tv worked nicely. Some flaws of the property were that the security of the entrances were bad. The back door to the deck didn’t lock. The windows were old and they had locks but they didn’t work. We arrived and realized the bathroom window was open and unable to be closed. The patio doors that were unable to be locked also just pulled open without any resistance. They also did have any shades on those door tall windows. The grill worked really nicely, even tho the metal on the grill grates were coming off. Outside, the lawn chairs and outdoor table were cute and well maintained. The pier was not so much the same and felt unsafe to walk on, although it was safe after we tested it for a bit. The fire place was nice and big and there was wood provided! Some of the wood was wet, unfortunately since there was no cover for the stacked wood. The fire place had a bunch of used cigarettes left inside which then made us not use the fireplace since we had kids and didn’t want to expose them the the fumes of used cigarettes. Lastly, we didn’t know that we were in a location that had a guesthouse! So when we arrived, there were people in the guesthouse on the same property pushing the hammock that was included with our purchase. With that being said, I think the stay was good and gave us what we were wanting!
Nice cozy cottage right on the Rock River with it's own dock. We made use of the canoe available and enjoyed early morning fires in the fire pit. Asher was quick to reply to any questions and we would certainly stay here again if we could.
