Perched just up the road from Surfdale Beach on Waiheke Island, this three-bedroom holiday home is a contemporary yet rustic spot to enjoy long summer days, surrounded by tranquil greenery and the chorus of birdsong. Welcome to Okahu House!

Spacious, vibrant, and sun-drenched, the open-plan living here at Okahu House invites you to make yourself right at home. Open the French doors and create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow onto the deck, where warm summer evenings can be spent enjoying BBQ meals, alfresco.

Cooking and baking will be a breeze in the gorgeous, fully equipped kitchen, and year-round comfort and entertainment are taken care of with the heat pump, a Smart TV, a variety of books and board games and complimentary WiFi.

Okahu House accommodates up to eight guests across its three bedrooms and has two generous bathrooms, making this the ideal retreat for a family or a couple's retreat.

Morning strolls and ocean swims are all too easy, with gorgeous Oneroa Beach a 2-minute drive, or a 10-minute walk away. On the way home, why stop into one of the delicious local eateries in Surfdale.

The local Countdown Waiheke supermarket is a six-minute drive away, or wine and dine at one of the picturesque vineyards close by, including Cable Bay and Mudbrick.

Comfortable modern house in great location

The house is very comfortable with modern fixtures, the kitchen and living area are particularly good. No views but a good location close to Surfdale shops (incl good coffee!). The top swimming beaches are a short drive away on the north side of the island. While we could see the guest WiFi network on our devices, the password provided didn't work and our requests to management did not result in resolution - no WiFi for the stay. The mixer in the main shower was faulty so showers had to be in the time taken for the water to go from cold to scalding. If these two matters are resolved this house is a top recommendation.
