Karaka Sanctuary with Spa Pool - Tranquil Family-Friendly Holiday Home

Upon entering Karaka Sanctuary, you are immediately welcomed by a large open plan kitchen and living area. The designer kitchen is well-equipped and the lounge is spacious and very comfortably appointed, with a selection of puzzles and a wood fireplace for the cooler months.

Large bi-fold doors lead from the living area onto the sun-washed deck, complete with outdoor furniture, Spa Pool and BBQ.

Being a 4-bedroom property, there is ample space to accommodate 8 guests, with 3 large bedrooms in the house and a very cute and comfy sleep-out down a small garden path.

There is one full bathroom in the main house and the sleep-out has its own small living room, microwave, fridge and a separate bedroom separate bathroom.

The house is equipped with a Spa Pool, WIFI, Sky TV, Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods) and quality furnishings.

This lovely home is modern and beautifully built to take advantage of its surroundings, the house has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow and has plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy.

The property is suitable for a maximum of 8 guests.

Please note that a 7-night minimum stay is required from the 20th Dec to the 10th January, a 3-night minimum stay for long weekends and 2-night minimum stay at all other times.



Waiheke Unlimited offers a wide range of services for the duration of your visit, including private in-house Chefs, daily housekeeping, beach towel hire, transport, tours and experiences, massage, child minding, port-a-cot and/or high chair hire, etc. Advance bookings required.

Extremely steep driveway with very little room down by house. House was damp. In need of maintenance

I would not stay here again. Property needs attention, repairs and the dampness issue needs attending to. It was portrayed as a 5 star property, but it is a 3 star property but with a 5 star price tag.

Bush Spa Getaway

A lovely spot we had a wonderful stay. The spa was fantastic it was a beautiful sunny spot. Great being nestled in the bush. Kitchen facilities were awesome and bedrooms all made up beautifully. Only down points were - Outdoor furniture was all moldy and stained so couldn't sit on it, no table to eat at, it rained a lot of the time, would have been great to have an outdoor table under deck covering. Side of the house was all moldy and the 4th bedroom down the path had no lights to get there and the 4th bedroom little sleep out smelled a bit funky and damp, there was a dehumidifier out there which was going , but the bed out there was tiny and just didn't feel as nice as inside. No TV in the little sleepout lounge a jug and microwave but no glasses or anything out there to have a drink of water. Just thought a bit more care could have gone into the sleep out. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.
