This place is epic!
We spent the weekend celebrating mother's day at this location. If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful & fun spot away from the chaos, this is the place to check out in the Boise area. The hosts was wonderful too. We highly recommend this rental & will book again in the future.
This was such a gorgeous property. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There was so much room but it still felt cozy. Our family loved staying here together. Communication with the owners was so easy and they were incredibly helpful. The perfect place to stay with a large group of friends or family.

Amazing setting, house was unique and very comfortable. The dogs and horses that roamed the property added to the beauty .
Communication and the minor issue we needed fixed was taken care of promptly. We highly recommend this property. Easily accommodated the 13 people we had.

Beautiful home, amazing views, great owners
Kris and Angie are the best hosts! This former summer home of Carole King sleeps up to 17!
Hiking, hunting, reservoir kayaking, horseback riding? Yep!!!
The cabin was a great gathering spot. We definitely want to return. Check in and check out were easy from the host. Our host Angie, gave us detailed directions. This gave us confidence in our travel there. Our children loved the location with wandering space outdoors. It rained while we were there but we still managed a campfire one night outdoors. The property is well maintained. The home had everything you would want - nice linens, tidy rooms, clean bathrooms, comfy spaces and no odors. I especially loved the amount of light throughout the home. The home was comfortable for our family and grand kids . There were multiple spaces to gather as we had a family playing board games , others watching a movie, and and another fixing dinner . The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for the few meals we made.

Beautiful Setting and Home
The place is beautiful, with a pool, firepit, and plenty of space. We watched horses grazing on the property and had several visits from the dogs that live up there. We were there for 3 nights, and 2 of the nights we lost power. The second time we lost power was the last day of our visit and the power went out at 6pm and didn't come back on until 4am. Other than the power outage the trip was good.

Amazing Family Getaway Spot!
This home is beautiful and the surroundings are breath taking! There is a lovely bubbling creek not far from the back door that you could hear when you were sitting on the back deck. There were beautiful pink lily pads in the pond. The grounds were a lovely green and very well cared for. Our grandkids loved the horses. They were gentle and friendly and even let the 7 year old lead them around. We spent most of the time on the covered back deck so the kids could play on the trampoline and in the yard. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and things needed to cook. There were necessary toiletries in all bathrooms. If you are a large family and looking for a place to get away this is it! There were 12 of us and it was perfect!

Peaceful yet so many activities to choose from
Just returned from a week long stay at this house high in the mountains near Boise, Idaho. The hosts provided everything needed from comfortable beds to a fully stocked kitchen to games (both inside and out). With the reservoir just down the hill to the pool, there’s plenty of water activities available. Want to horseback ride or hike? They have you covered. The peaceful pond sounds and frogs overnight lull you to sleep with open windows to enjoy the cool nights. I definitely will return!

A wonderful spacious cabin & accommodation for our family reunion!
The cabin itself is spacious and inviting with multiple spaces for a variety of ages to mingle, play games, or linger and visit. Our favorite hangout was the swimming pool (great for the August summer days and/or evenings). The expansive covered deck was our go-to for family meals and outdoor lawn games; and the grandkids loved the ground-level trampoline. We also enjoyed s'mores using the outdoor fire pit. It made for a memorable, fun, and enriching family reunion. The owners, Kris and Angie Keller, were friendly and quick to respond to any concerns we encountered. Most of our family is from the Boise area, but the cabin was secluded and private. We highly recommend.
This property is amazing! Our family and friends had so much fun here. The home has a unique history and so much to offer inside and out. It’s definitely worth getting off the beaten path for this. The house was very clean, had tons of room, and the owners are very responsive to any needs. We had many opportunities to interact with the owners and really appreciated getting to know them. We travel a lot and this home was definitely a highlight of the places we’ve stayed. We swam, hiked, played, and got the horse rides as an extra option one of the days. There’s so many great activities at the house or around the greater area. It was truly and amazing experience. We look forward to returning in the future!
