Wonderful place!

This 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for our family of four. It looked just like the photos. It was clean, nicely decorated, spacious, quiet, and had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. While we didn’t utilize the lake, the location was great for someone wanting to. Our host, Erika, was also friendly and quick to respond to any questions/issues. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Lake Dallas Cozy Getaway

This location was perfect! Close to a lot of things to do from the lake to a few restaurants to a bar if you so choose. The cleanliness of the facility was amazing, lots of little touches that made it feel almost like home. 100% would stay there again. The owners are amazing and communicate way better than any place I have ever stayed.

Place was very nice and cute for what we needed it for. No complaints but only thing we didnt like was the stair design. The top stair is dangerously close to the door which you have to be careful walking in and out but other than that it was a very cozy place and extremely pet friendly! The owners were very attentive to our needs and very nice! We only had 2 issues one was addressed right with the tv and on our 2nd night the light in the bathroom was going out (had we sent a text to the owner she would have fixed it right away but due to us only sleeping there we didnt bother addressing it). Also mom wanted me to add that the neighbors roasters woke her up daily lol.

Great place to stay. Cute and comfy! Great parking and yard for our dogs with secure fence. So clean and just adorable. Easy access to Dallas metroplex. Dallas Aquarium and Great Wolf Lodge were our destinations. I would stay here again!

Exceeded Expectations

We always VRBO, this was a quick trip for UNT graduation and needed a place for my furbaby as well. The Trottage really exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, great location, excellent place for furbaby, although she wouldn’t go out by herself, without me. Communication was great. We never cooked while there, so did not really use the kitchen. Can tell you The Cowboy diner was great! Would stay again, of ever in this area. Owner was great to work with.

Felt like home!

The Trottage at Lake Dallas was clean and neat. It had everything we needed to function away from home, including a full kitchen, 2 bed/2bath on opposite ends of the unit for privacy and a fully fenced yard. It is close to everything by car, and we will be back. Thank you to the owners for a great place to stay! We cleaned up very well before checking out, because it is such a nice space, we wanted to keep it that way.
