Beautiful Bend Retreat - Meredith Lodging

Stay only a few minutes' walk to the gorgeous Deschutes River in this newly furnished contemporary home in the desirable River Wild neighborhood of Mt. Bachelor Resort. With its soaring two-story vaulted ceiling, the living room is bathed in light, making it an inviting space to gather to watch your favorite movies and shows on the giant, comfy couch or for conversation by the cozy gas fireplace. The modern, open-floor-plan kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking must-haves featuring a gas cooktop on a granite island, stainless steel appliances, brand new stainless steel pots and pans, a crockpot, a coffee maker, lots of serving pieces.

The wraparound deck includes a new grill and a second dining table for summertime BBQs, as well as Adirondack chairs for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. On the main level, you’ll find the master suite complete with a king-sized bed, private bathroom, a walk-in closet, and private access to the deck. Upstairs are two more light-filled, quiet bedrooms, the first has a Queen sized bed and walk-in closet with private bathroom access. The second bedroom includes two full-sized beds and one twin trundle bed. All beds and mattresses in the house are brand new and extremely comfortable. Please respect that this home has been designed to be hypoallergenic and sadly we cannot allow pets of any kind.

A quick 15-minute stroll along the river trail brings you to Old Mill Shopping District where you can grab lunch, a manicure, or even a new bathing suit. Enjoy the nearby amenities of Mt. Bachelor Village, including a pool, hot tub, tennis, and playground. Dine in the Village, or drive a couple of miles to all the delights of downtown Bend. Skiing at Mt. Bachelor is 20 minutes away. Book this fantastic custom home and enjoy the natural amenities of Central Oregon from a whole new perspective.


Your kids will flip for their own Kids Club area, with bean bag chairs, board games, and video game screens and controllers. A game room has foosball and shuffleboard, too.

The house was amazing. Very clean and orderly. Very peaceful to sit out on the poor in the morning and evening with a beverage and watch folks walking their dogs. We had an absolute blast in town as well. Highly recommend this house and the area.

Fabolous Home and Relaxing Area

This is just what the doctor ordered for an amazing getaway. A perfect blend of comfort and serenity from the beautiful river view to the comfortable bed, this property does not disappoint. After having breakfast, taking a walk around the grounds soaking in some of the natural surroundings to unplug for a while. Attention to detail, a well kept property and home is well worth every moment even for a short impromptu jaunt.

Tenant Beware

We had been looking forward to our trip to Bend. We have stayed several times at other homes in this same neighborhood but not under this management company. After traveling 6 hours to reach our vacation home we were so disappointed. From the moment we opened the front door we were greeted with grungy floors. Counter surfaces had not been wiped down and the glasses in the kitchen were covered with greasy fingerprints. It appeared our rental had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Property Management texted asking if we had arrived. I let them know we had only to discover a dirty rental. They offered to send cleaners the next day. With RSV/Covid/Flu cases being high we declined letting any cleaners into the home during our stay. Also we were on a ski holiday and didn't want to commit to what time we would be off the mountain. They offered us a small credit towards a future stay which we are not interested in. We were charged a hefty cleaning fee that I asked to have refunded, they declined. Really unfortunate had property management done a walk through prior to our arrival I would hope they would have made sure the home was ready for guests. The kitchen is not well stocked. One dish towel, no hot pads for the oven and space items in the cupboards. Advertised as a well stocked kitchen. There are no extra blankets for beds made up with thin quilts. If the owner or management were to put a little more effort into preparing this home for rent it would make a huge different to future guests.

Great Home Quiet Neighborhood

This property was everything that was described in their listing. It's a wonderful property in a super quiet neighborhood. We were there in May so unfortunately, the pool wasn't open but we took advantage of the community hot tub. I was a little taken aback by the 5pm check-in time, but after calling the property management company, they were able to get us an earlier check-in and it worked out great. We will definitely be back to this property!

Quiet and Comfortable

Had a great stay, the Meredith staff is wonderful. The house had no hot water the first few days and not much water pressure. Maintenance was able to come and help us determine that the hot water heater breaker was off. They were unable to address the water pressure. Cozy house for 2 families.
