Filthy upon arrival

Unit was filthy, sand everywhere, food, trash and dirt under beds and furniture. Dirty counters with food crumbs. Until had a vacuum that didn’t work and no other means to clean up mess. We spent over 2 hours cleaning the unit before we could bring out stuff in. Office sent cleaning team to do the floors, let were nice enough tykes leave some of the junk they pulled from under the found in the counter for us. Mid week ann exterminator shows up with no notice and wants to do the unit, needless to say we didn’t meat them in. Will not rent from Elliot ever again!

We are deeply sorry to hear about your experience. It’s unacceptable that you arrived to such a dirty unit and had to spend so much time cleaning before you could even settle in. The issues with sand, food, and trash left under furniture and beds are certainly not what we expect. We also regret that the vacuum was not functional and that the cleaning team left some of the junk behind. The lack of notice about the exterminator visit is equally concerning, and we understand how this would be frustrating. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. Your feedback will help us address these problems with our team to ensure they are resolved promptly. If you have any further concerns or if there’s anything we can do to make amends, please let us know.

Cleaning

I was very happy with the property but disappointed in the cleaning and communication. The second shift cleaning people did not show up until 8:15 to clean. I was told we could not enter the property until it was done. We had a 4 hour ride, checked in around 3:30 and had to wait for cleaning. I spoke to Nick regarding the cleaning and he said they would be there by 7. This is a long time to wait especially since we paid for the entire day. My family and ended up cleaning the property ourselves and left it cleaner than it was when we got there so minimal cleaning was needed afterwards. I tried calling the cleaning number provided and Elliott for two days after this occurred but received to no answer, I was wondering if my number was screened. I paid a premium price for the Condo to be clean when I got there so I feel it only reasonable to refund the cleaning fee. I really enjoyed my vacay after the stress wore off.
