Great holiday home

Lovely apartment, with stunning lake views. Extremely comfortable, and well equipped. Easy walk into town, and straight onto the main road, so easy to drive to snow fields. We were warm and cosy, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a view.

We stayed here during our tour of the South Island, and it did not disappoint. The house was a good size for a family of 4, with the second room seemingly able to be configured for two single beds as required. Despite being near the main road, the home was quiet and spacious. The kitchen was well thought out, with a very clear detail to organisation which we liked. Then there is the view. From the dining table and even when drawing your bedroom curtains, you have a gorgeous view over the Remarkables and the lake, it’s definitely worth a stay for that. My only slight critique was the absence of a vacuum cleaner in the house but we’d happily stay again.
