About this property

This unique and family-friendly updated 3 bedroom century cottage/country home has so much for all to do with it's 32 acres of private grounds to explore. Enjoying famous Sandy Lake/Sandy Lake Creek with it's crystal clear water, have a drink by the fire pit, or lounge in the hammock in the wraparound porch. With a dock on Sandy Lake Creek on the side of the cottage you can paddle into Sandy Lake and enjoy a swim, using the kayaks, paddle board or row boat.

What use to be a sheep farm nearly a century ago is now a great escape for guests who love the cottage experience which includes Sandy Lake/Sandy Creek, to having the option of exploring the 32acres which is behind the cottage. The extensive grounds are great to hike and maybe even find the beaver damn on Sandy Creek. In the winter months you may cross country ski or snowshoe followed by the warmth of the indoor fire place.

The cottage is unique for the variety of things to explore. There is Sandy Lake across the road, Sandy Lake Creek on the side of the cottage and to the rear is the hobby farm and forested area and trails.

Enjoy Sandy lake and Sandy Lake Creek with the Kayaks, paddle boat and rowboat which are provided. The 32 acres of land make it ideal for individuals who enjoy nature; explore the hobby farm or the extensive grounds.
