What a cute place to stay! We were in the area for a race and found this place. It truly is a hidden gem! Cortney was a great host! If we are ever back in the area we’d definitely return!
It was a great stay at the creek. Perfect for our honeymoon. Loved the views and the farmhouse. It was just what we were looking for. All around a great stay.
Everything you will need to relax and unwind in a quiet, cozy, country way. The front porch alone is so inviting and the extra care and added touch by the owners added to the appeal of this location.

Thank you for choosing The Creek! So glad you enjoyed the front porch even in VERY cold temperatures!!!! We love it!
Quiet, peaceful place if you are looking for a remote setting. We enjoyed the restful atmosphere. The house reminded me of my grandfathers house which brought back warm memories.
Very relaxing stay at a very nicely equipped cabin. The owners have filled this cabin with all the items you could ever want or need. Beautiful landscaped property with interesting history. The ride into the property is long and could be tricky in bad weather. However, it is very worth your time if you want piece and quite. Really enjoyed the front porch viewing of all the wildlife. Great stay.

You all were a delight to talk to and to have as our guests! Blessings and hope to see you again!
My husband and I were in town visiting family and this was a great option for us and our fur babies. While it is a bit of a drive from town, if you are looking for a quite place to get away this is it. Internet service was excellent and this was the cleanest house we have ever rented. It’s small but was plenty big for us.
Wonderful outdoor experience and a quiet place to stay off the grid. Great place for hiking and to see nature. Downside was the long drive getting into town which required advance planning and patience. The house was very nice, clean, and nicely laid out both inside and out. Large wraparound porch and plenty of sitting/entertainment area. Included a well laid out garden.
My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at the little house on the creek. We took our dirtbikes and rode the gravel trails, and relaxed on the porch and listed to the creek in the evenings. We will definitely be back... it was the perfect rural getaway that we both needed to recharge.

We are pleased that you had a restful stay at The Creek! You left it so clean that we weren’t sure you really came- the towels in the washer was the clue you had! Please share with friends and come again when city leaves for gets hectic! Blessings. Carl and Bev
Absolutely phenomenal!!! I loved this place so much! My kids who are 9 &11 had the best time exploring outside and just enjoying the wildlife! The pictures don’t do it justice its way more beautiful in person! So peaceful and a place where you can connect to earth and the beauty that surrounds you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The living is easy at the creek! Three generations of ladies had a wonderful weekend! Mimi said “most quiet and relaxed weekend she had had in a long time”. Kitchen is adequate, we grilled at night, bedrooms are great. Porch is amazing! Bring what you need, once you are here you will not want to leave. Just what we wanted a quiet 4th!

So glad you ladies enjoyed THE CREEK and each other. Hope to see you all again sometime!
We loved absolutely every little detail. Bev has everything thought through. I would change absolutely nothing.
It is exactly what the description says and it WILL exceed your expectations by little touches like finding a basket with stuff to make s'mores with, white noise machine by your bed or hummingbird feeders in front of the house, so you can watch them while drinking your morning coffee. Close enough to a whole bunch of amazing hiking trails. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed a weekend at this lovely cottage. We’d recommend The Creek for anyone seeking a well maintained place in the mountains for a quiet retreat from routine or city life. The cottage is clean and tidy, and the beds super comfy. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and grill to cook all our meals; no need to break retreat and venture the 12 miles into town for restaurants. Once you are there, the quiet and beauty will draw you in and you won’t want to leave. There is something for all nature lovers: short and long walks, the creek itself, songbirds, wildlife, and deck chairs for sitting back and taking in all the beauty. It’s a great place for a couple as well as for families with kids of all ages.
