This 6-bedroom, 6 bath home located directly on the Frio River in the gated Heartstone subdivision sleeps up to 28.

Featuring a sand volleyball court, sparkling swimming pool, and private river frontage, Barefoot is the ideal location for your memorable Concan vacation. Gather in the oversized living area, or hang out on the huge back deck under the gorgeous oak trees overlooking the beautiful Frio River.

Have a golf cart? Bring it with you! Heartstone is the only subdivision in Concan that permits the use of golf carts within its confines. Don't have a golf cart? No worries! You can rent one and have it delivered and waiting for you when you arrive.

Located less than 8 miles from Garner State Park and just a short drive to House Pasture for live music and dining or to Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course for a round of golf, Barefoot is conveniently located near all the most popular spots to visit and enjoy.

Nice, clean property!

We had a group of 14, and our favorite part was that each bedroom has its own shower and toilet! The house is well maintained. We could’ve used instructions for the tv because there we at least 5 different remotes and it was a little confusing, but luckily most times we were too busy outdoors to watch tv.

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
