Perfect for the Eclipse

We used 24/37 of the beds in the house. It is sort of amazing that we could even find a house of this size for our Eclipse Viewing Party/Mini College Reunion. The kids loved the pool! The adults loved the well stocked kitchen and ample living spaces, the fire pit, the River and the sizeble parking area. Communication with Frio River Resorts was a breeze. You need to come prepared. Read the details for the property and have a bedding/towel and paper products plan. We did. And it worked out fine. Enjoy! We did.

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
