Wonderful Beach House with Fabulous Views

If your looking for a spacious and comfortable accommodations, fabulous ocean view, and a kitchen fully equipped, this is the place for you.

This contemporary style home has oak cabinets, tile floors, area rugs, washer and dryer, fireplace, woodstove and much more to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Our home was designed to get fabulous views on both stories. When you step outside on the huge deck you can share a meal or a glass of wine. Deck has been glassed on the outside.

Inside the dining table is solid wood with leaves, seats 8, breakfast bar too. The living room is furnished with comfortable leather couch and two leather recliners. Gas BBQ, plus a room finished for a game of ping pong. TV in living room, TV in master bedroom and a TV in the family room and another bedroom as well. An assortment of games, books and movies are on hand for your entertainment. Maximum of 3 vehicles allowed on site.

Beautiful Ocean View

Relaxing vacation at the beach. I would stay here again. Beautiful view, short walk to the beach and plenty of room. Beautiful clean and nicely furnished 3 bedroom home. Real enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home and spectacular view

Great home and location for our little family gathering. House was well appointed for relaxing and cooking together. Lots of nearby natural beauty, especially the beach right across the street! Tide pools, seals, and amazing sunsets. Highly recommend!

Great hosts and beautiful view

This was a great house to stay for a multi generational group as we needed no step accessibility. Living room, kitchen and primary bedroom all on main floor with a family room, two bedrooms and full bathroom downstairs. The hosts were very communicative and friendly.

Amazing

What a lovely home in a quiet and private neighborhood! Easy walk to the beach. We saw so many star fish and tiny sea creatures during low tide. It was wonderful. The view from the deck is just amazing!! Beds are comfy and the couch is super comfortable! We had a blast! Thank you for having such a great place!

Beautiful View

Older home but fantastic layout and perfect view. Driveway was really rutted, so it would have been a little difficult if we didn't all have trucks. Tons of games provided. Well stocked kitchen. Everything worked well. Will definitely stay again!

Ocean view and beach access

We had a five day stay with a family of four (2 parents/2 kids) and the grandparents. The house worked well for the grandparents to have their own bathroom/bedroom upstairs and the rest of us had private space downstairs. The house was equipped with all we needed. The location was excellent for day trips, being between Florence and Newport. Our priority in a house was an ocean view from inside and out and walkable beach access and this house delivered on both. The tidepools at Seal Rock are great too.

Perfect setting for a weekend with friends.

Our party of 5 arrived to sightsee and attend the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. House instructions and curated recommendations arrived in advance, and there were no issues whatsoever. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen is great, and there is ample space for gathering indoor or outdoors. Elevated view of the ocean and sunset is spectacular. One of the best places to stay on the coast. No drawbacks.

Wonderful Labor Day Get-away!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Olson's beach house! It was perfect for us and our daughter and her little family! Two king rooms made us all comfortable. My daughter's family was able to have privacy in the downstairs and we couldn't hear them from the Master upstairs. And we all enjoyed games and hanging out together with the ocean in the background. We loved the beaches. The Quail street access was perfect when we were all heading out. We managed the steep climb down for morning tide pool adventures just fine. Seal Rock is a fun place for kids to explore. We drove down to Yachats for a couple of great meals at the Drift Inn! The Olsons were great at providing tips for the area and welcoming us to their home!

Seal Rock House

We all really enjoyed our stay,the house was large,plenty of room. The kids & adults used the ping pong table alot! We made use of the telescope to watch the birds out on the rocks.The beds were comfy,kitchen had loads of dishware ect for us to use. What was really nice was the views,lots of windows,very bright & cheery. I guess the only 'downside' was the beach wasn't very accessable,or we weren't able to find the 'walkway' unless the owners were referring to the road up the hill to the house. ( which is how we went) Plus my husband, grandkids & I, had to cross HWY 101,a ( very busy highway) then very carefully climb down rocks to get to the beach. I really wouldn't recommend this house for the elderly unless they were in good health,as the walk to & from the beach isn't flat even ground. We had no problem in that area. We had a relaxing time,which is what we wanted more than anything.

We didn't want to leave!

This home was so clean and very cute! It had beach home vibes and the ocean view was incredible. My family enjoyed going down to seal rock at low tide. The owner and housekeeper were very helpful with anything we needed. There are so many things to do close by and just a 2.5 hour drive to Cannon Beach. Located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We all slept very comfortably and enjoyed watching the stars on the patio. We truly did not want to leave and hope to be back someday! The home included pretty much anything we could have needed, patio chairs, crab traps, coffee maker, binoculars, etc. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for our trip

Older property but well maintained. Master on the main was perfect for my elderly parents. Main floor deck looking right out to the ocean also perfect for everyone to enjoy. Location allowed exploring south to Heceta Head and north to Newport.

Best view ever!

We had a great time at this beach house. It probably has the best view of any place I’ve ever stayed. It was just stunning. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, plenty of towels and necessities to last for our week-long stay. Lots of books, games, and puzzles for down time (although there wasn’t much of that).

Amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The architecture of the home is beautiful with views of the pacific out very window! The large deck was great to sit and relax, have a cup of coffee or a meal. The location was perfect with easy access to many beautiful beaches. We would definitely recommend the home to folks traveling with a family as there is ample room.And the hosts are wonderful!Thank you! Mary

For us, this was an ideal property

All the things we were hoping were present. Stunning views of the ocean, close proximity to our favorite access point for walking on the beach, quiet location away from the road. Comfortable in every respect and quick response to questions/issues that might arise. What distinguished this property the most was the feel of home and availability of the simple things of home. For example, no need to run out for sugar, it was there. A wide variety of kitchen utensils as you would have in your own home. Several pairs of binoculars to look out the beautiful picture window. And much more. It was the attention to detail that made this a top rated property for us. It would be our top choice at the next trip to the Oregon Coast.

Will Be Back!

This home is a perfect blend of luxury and cozy. It seems the owners have thought of everything--from Tupperware for leftovers to well-stocked bookshelves and game/puzzle/card cupboards. We were able to spontaneously watch a movie on Netflix and enjoy ocean views and sounds from the deck. Every window in the home looks out onto the coast, and 5 of us were able to spread out, beachcomb, and shop at local galleries to our hearts' content. Did not try out the real fireplace, but they were prepared for that, too. Can't wait to come back! A wonderful home away from home.

What a view!

Great gathering space, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Host provided excellent instructions ahead of time and info posted throughout the house. VRBO listing was rated a three because there was an error on the side of VRBO. When we booked the house it was listed as 3 bedroom/3 bath when it's actually 3 bedroom/2 bath. The error has since been corrected. We would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Seal Rock Getaway

The home is gorgeous with stunning views of the ocean and a quick walk to the beach. The rental is well appointed, comfortable and clean. One of my favorite VRBO rentals, I’ll definitely be back.
