Enchanting escape In the trees! Upstairs 1 bdrm apartment that overlooks Barren River Lake. This quaint getaway has a rear deck, built literally in the trees! The bedroom also features a balcony overlooking the Kentucky landscape. Enjoy a short walk down to the lake, or spend your time relaxing and grilling on the deck. The lake has lots to
offer including fishing, kayaking, swimming, and water skiing
(kayaks and canoes can be used at no charge.)

Sorry no party's or local family gatherings

Nearby Mammoth Cave National Park has many activities including underground cave tours and miles of hiking. Barren River State Park is 15 miles away with a golf course, restaurant, horse back riding, and swimming area.

Narrows campground and marina is just across the lake 150 yards boat ramp there also
Or beaver creek swimming area and boat ramp.


The private boat docks are not a part of this rental.
The lake is managed by the federal Government (corps of engeneers) and they will not allow any permitted docks on any lake that they manage to be used for commercial use.
I am told however we can let family and Guests/friends use our docks.

Short but nice stay

Host very good with communications and actually got to meet him when checking out - I apricated that. Distance to 'things' took longer than expected due to back-roads, but nothing can be done about that - just an FYI for people. Quiet and nice stay - would do it again!

Chill Adventures

My husband and I had some doctors appointments in Bowling Green, and decided to make it into a mini adventure trip. This was a delightful comfortable place for the two of us to stay, and our host could not have been nicer! Even brought us some pecans and a tomato from his garden! Would definitely stay here again if our path takes us this way. A bit of a drive to town, but it’s a pretty drive, and same to Mammoth Cave.

Memorable Stay

Our stay was great! There was a terrible storm that moved through the area, the first night we were there. We lost power, but the property owner was excellent with the whole situation. He got a generator running and made sure we were comfortable. We got to fish and kayak. So relaxing! Surrounding towns were great to explore. The neighbors were very nice! Don't hesitate to book!

possibilities

would be a great place , but seriously needs an update and a better cleaning crew. Dishwasher had moldy dishes in it and. the bathroom shower needs cleaned as well. Needs lights outside on the stairs. But with all that a quiet place perfect for two. Owner/Manager seemed like a very nice man.

There is a led light near the steps and a solar light as you go up the steps, but I ordered a motion light to install also I checked the dishwasher but found no mold or dishes. I will be sure to get with the cleaning crew and go over your issues. I live near the rental if you had messaged me I could have taken care of this for you. I'm sorry you did not care for the style and I will consider making some changes. I will call you to get your recommendations on changes to make also

Amazing getaway!

We love the location and the tree house is so quite and has a great view. We met Mr. Marlin (owner) and found out he played the guitar and so does my husband and they became fast friends. We also met some of the neighbors and all of them were so kind. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will be going back very soon!!!! Can’t wait!!!!

If you are looking for peaceful solitude, this is the place. Overlooking a lake, squirrels playing on the deck. It was a very stormy windy night during part of our stay but we slept well. Would definitely like to stay again

I own a furniture store In bowling Green Marlins Furniture. I'm 63 and love the lake. I work to much and try to travel when I can. I am a native of Nashville Tennessee. I attend Greenwood Park Church of Christ.

Why they chose this property

I found this place when I was camping across the lake at the Narrows campground and Marina and had to have it. I think it is a special place. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. I do not use it as much as I did in years past and decided to rent it to vacationers.
