The property and area are beautiful. Didnt exactly realize the two rooms would be separate, having to go outside, down stairs to reach the other room. Also, some things were not as clean as we would expect. The upstairs bed was very uncomfortable/small as well. Besides that, it served its purpose for what we needed.

Very nice and quiet. I wish we could have had more time to explore. We were there for a softball tournament so we didn’t get to spend much time there. But the inside and outside of the property was beautiful and peaceful. We will be back!
We loved this place. It is a charming converted barn apartment with two decks, overlooking farm and forest views. Physically comfortable and roomy the interior provided us with all we needed for three adults. The hosts, at our request, provided us with a tour of their working organic farm. Otherwise, they gave us our privacy.
We observed deer frolicking in the fields during the morning mist daily. The weather was blustery and rainy but nevertheless we enjoyed a walk on the trail down to the creek and toured the farm, but yet were snug and cozy.
If you like cats, the farm cats are friendly and welcoming. If you don’t like cats, they will keep their distance. We found them all very endearing and they made us really feel at home.
We were in the area for a family funeral but liked the place so much we plan to return during happier times and better weather. If you are looking to get away from city life to peaceful, more remote locations but have all the comforts of home, this is a nice retreat.
