Recent guests wrote Mahuta has the WOW Factor!!!! We have stayed in many locations around the Great Lake and 114 Mahuta rates the best. With its proximity, a few paces, to the lake, low level, and stunning 180-degree panoramic views it rates the best accommodation available in our opinion.

There is no access to the garage, plenty of parking on the property.
Not suitable for camping or campervans
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.
Holiday homes and a couple of permanent residences make up this neighbourhood. No local store close so all supplies need to be brought with you.

Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveler the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
