This place is incredible! I highly recommend this place if you are going to be staying in the area, especially for a ski trip. The house was very clean and modern. The bathroom was too notch, with heated floors and a double shower. Plus the dozen eggs and honey made for an incredible breakfast before hitting the slopes. Only thing that could use an upgrade is the mattress in the master bedroom. It has seen better days, but it did the job. Will be booking here again go our next ski trip!

This cute little home nestled away in the hills of WV was the perfect place for an extended weekend get away! We had a wonderful time, watching movies with the fireplace in the back ground! The hosts were the best and so fast to answer any questions we had. We walked into a welcome sign, and farm fresh eggs! We have shared this home with friends who love WV and snowboarding like we do! You will not be disappointed!

Everything was perfect! Just what we were looking for and everything we needed. The hot tub, the views, and peace and quiet were all what you would expect from the listing. The free fresh eggs and honey, along with views of ducks, chickens, sheep and plentiful deer made the stay feel even more like the small farm it is. We wanted a peaceful getaway and got a really upscale little home in the hills, with privacy and solitude.

Get away in the country

Excellent property with very nice hot tub and well stocked modern kitchen. Great for staying to go to ski at Snowshoe. Even had a nice glove drying unit. Will definitely stay here again next year.

Biking Getaway

Pictures of the property do not deceive. The real thing is as good as the pictures. Clean, well equipped, and close enough to the Marlinton trail access. The hosts have provided all the comforts of home. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Already hope to go back.

Aamazing getaway from it all!

We went away for a long weekend just the two of us. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. Small house, but has it all for a couple or a family of 3-4. Nice yard space, was clean, open and we loved staying hwre. We even were given a dozen farm fresh eggs. Would gladly stay there again.

My wife and I stayed five nights in this wonderful location. Open the front door and it’s a big WOW. So spacious, modern, and the cleanest place we have ever stayed, making it that much more comfortable. Everything is of the best quality, and details are well thought out. Loved the shower and hot tub. Silence is golden, and dark skies allow for great stargazing. Hosts are thoughtful and are nearby if you need them. Centrally located to many attractions if you’re willing to take a beautiful drive. Can’t say enough good things. Hated to leave.

A great second visit!

My family stayed last June and had a great experience. Returning in July 2024, this property is well maintained and accurately represented by the photos. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The spa and shower are awesome to return to after a day of fun. The animal watching and stargazing are a nice feature as well to the location. Great house and host!

We enjoyed our stay. After a work weekend at our property we enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub. The house was equipped with everything we needed. I cant stop raving to everyone about how nice this place is. Has everything you need and close enough to town if you forget something. There is no cell service but the wifi provided house kept me in touch with the family. And not to mention the dozen free range eggs.

Clean, modern, and peaceful

This was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area with our two young kids. All the pics accurately represent this property. Remote work was seamless through the Wi-Fi connection. The first thing that struck us was how clean it was and how thoughtful the hosts were to ensure we felt at home. We’ve stayed in many rentals but this is a stand out and we would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful WV Getaway

The house was really lovely, with beautiful mountain views to enjoy from the patio! Everything inside felt new, clean, and convenient. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook. The wifi worked great so the limited cell service wasn't a problem at all. We really enjoyed using the grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Our hosts reached out with helpful information about our stay, left easy-to-understand instructions for things in the house, and were very responsive and accommodating. They even surprised us with a kind gift of some farm-fresh eggs! We'd certainly enjoy staying there again.

Amazing!

This house was amazing. Clean and neat but it had all the warm welcoming touches that just seemed to add to the charm. Like fresh honey from the farm and fresh eggs left in the frig. There were spices in cabinet and even plastic wrap and baggies. All those extra things that made it was welcoming. Even had a crockpot. Didn’t need one but it was brand new and in the cabinet waiting for someone to use. It was very private and the hot tub was wonderful after a long day biking on the Greenbrier Trail. Would love to return!
