Amenities? Liquified coffee grounds in the jar of instant coffee, cockroaches in kitchen sink and bathroom shower, burned out light bulbs and Roku TV. Oh, and the smell of old house, mouse bait in each room and dust balls on the floor. Terrible for any price. If you want to play Silver Lakes, drive the hour to a hotel!

Short stay

We have stayed at several VRBOs and have been extremely satisfied. This property has some very nice features and the upgrades that have been done. Our biggest problem was the smell in the house. It has an extremely old smell and musty. We put some air fresheners and tried to make the smell better. The other was the poison ivy that is everywhere. I am highly allergic to it and it was a bit tricky because it just being in the air I could have a major reaction. We don’t want to give it a bad review but feel that these are things that could be addressed- painting the closet would help smell a lot! Thank you for reading this and we hope this property is successful because it really has so much potential.

We have already contacted our local contact person, who will promptly address the poison ivy/oak issue by spraying the area. Additionally, we are implementing a few steps to counter the mentioned odor. This includes adding plug-in air fresheners, running the ceiling fans more frequently, and spritzing the house before guest arrival. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during your stay. Once again, thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work diligently to address and resolve these issues."
