Cottage was well equipped. Bathroom was very cold as the only heater was in the lounge. Possums were very active during the night!! Bed was comfortable and water was hot for shower etc. Overall the cottage suited us for a few days away from the city with easy drive to Bunbury and Busselton.
The bed in the main bedroom was the worst bed I have slept in , the mattress did not fit the frame and we had to prop up the right hand side of the mattress to level it.There were no dish cloths or tea towels. The house was set up to accommodate 4 people but only had lounge seating for 2.
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely retreat at Connie’s Cottage. Full of rustic charm and appeal. Clean and tidy walking distance to Boyanups local treasures. Great communication with host.
We enjoyed our stay! It’s a unique and quirky little place. We were provided with milk, bread and a lovely cake as well as a coffee voucher to use at the local coffee shop, which was a nice touch!
Quaint cottage, lots of character. Pretty garden. Fully fenced and big lawn for our little dogs.
Quiet street.
We enjoyed our stay in Boyanup.
Bread, cake and milk appreciated. Thankyou!
Wonderful almost century old house that took me back to my grandparents house in the country.
Beautiful shady back yard that our dogs loved and we sat and had a wine. Ellen the host was very very good at prompt communication and left milk, bread and some yummy local cake in the fridge on arrival.
There is basically everything you need for comfortable stay in a small country town.
We really appreciated the dog friendly touches.
Local tavern and shops were so nice and accommodating even with dogs.
Would highly recommend 😀

Great location but unsettling for single female
Arrived with no communication from property manager on access to property. No lock box on front door, went around to the back, which had a pool-type fence. Navigated that, found the keys and managed to get access but that whole saga took about 10 minutes.
Property itself spotless and as the ad specified. It's basic but the owner had provided bread, milk and pantry staples which was lovely.
Unfortunately I left the property without staying the night as I couldn't lock the front door of the property and didn't feel overly safe given I was on my own. By the time I realised this it was 9pm and I felt it was too late to message the owner, although in correspondence they said they would have come down to help out.
Hard to rate as the house was great but check-in was harder than it should be and the door issue was unsettling.

Disappointing but host obliging
We arrive mid afternoon on 28 Dec 2024. It was hot and we were looking forward to settling in for a 5 night holiday in an air conditioned cottage as had been advertised. Although it was cute(small) and old, it was clean and had a lovely welcome pack plus milk and bread, it was hot. We found the one small split air conditioning unit in the lounge and put it on full and it struggled to cool the lounge, let alone anywhere else. The cottage is advertised as suitable for 4 people but only had seating for 2 in the lounge. The main bed room had a sleigh queen bed which had a broken side and this would have been a hazard for us. There were pedestal fans in each bedroom. The outdoor seating at the back was two metal chairs beside a small table and an active wasp nest in the roof. The front verandah looked inviting but no seating. We could not see ourselves coping with the hot weather forecast over the next few days and made the decision to leave straight away, leaving everything as we found it.I notified the host immediately in the hope we could get some of our cost returned. The host was able to modify our booking and we were refunded not quite half the original cost. We are grateful for that and that the host was able to rebook quickly.I do hope the extra balance the host received(as we did not stay at all) is used to further upgrade the refurbishments and put another sofa in the lounge plus a/c in each bedroom and maybe more outdoor furniture?
Very happpy with cottage. Very comfortable home and had everything you could possibly need. Lovely location and very clean. Even came with free loquats. If ever down that way again, would defintely hope to stay there.
Toilet dirty and full of spider webs and dead insects. There are rodents in the roof space of the property. We were woken up at 5am. With animals fighting and scurrying in the roof space. No coffee in the kitchen and popcorn provided was nibbled by mice probably.

BADNo gas for bbq, stove starter didnt work and no matches available, microwave did not work, rats or possums in the roof and walls, overgrown lawn, blood stains on bed underlay. GOODHot water was very much appreciated after a long bike ride.
Had a very enjoyable quiet stay at this quaint rustic old cottage. Fully fenced back yard was ideal for our medium sized dog. Great location and all amenities provided.
Quaint little cottage with everything you need for a couple of days stay. Aircon heating was lovely as a bit chilly during our stay. Lounge room could do with another chair as only a 2 seater couch. Very clean and close to shops and cafe.

Old expected, good bathroom toilet, clean comfortable linen on bed found not as clean in bedroom corners and lounge room, sofa old not comfortable difficulty getting up and down as im a senior person with mobility issues this was a big negative also slopping of floors in bedroom difficult for me as well. Appreciated rail in bathroom and non slip mat in shower. Height of toilet good again sloping floors towards back of house. Sloping step at back door also a problem for me. Big negative was entry to gate where you park car huge big puddle to walk through to unload car our feet were very wet before we even got into the house to settle in. Appreciated bread and milk being left and cake unfortunately, we are lactose intolerant and prefer brown bread had already visited local bakery and had brought cakes and pastries with us.
Nice old house. Good location. The only heater was in the living room. So the rest of the house was very cold. Toilet was a long way from main bedroom.
