Very nice set up. Enjoyed ourselves. Very comfy beds and a lovely view from the patioTo make it a little more senior friendly it could use some grab bars in the bathrooms and some hand rails for the front steps and the stairs coming in from the side entrance.
We were in town for my brothers wedding and this place worked wonderfully! 8 of us stayed here and we were all very comfortable and there was lots to do to keep us busy! Highly recommend this property for your next big family vacation!
Everything we thought it would be! Beautiful property with many things to do. We all, (8 - 10 of us at different times on different nights), were extremely happy. I would recommend this property to anyone. The owner checked in with me to see how we were doing, which was greatly appreciated!
Great location and very responsible host ,great old house but it need to be maintained. Bad thing is that the house is close railway so must be ready to get waked up at 6am.Central AC do not work and windows mounted AC are really noisy so you cant have them running overnight . On top of that windows can't be opened and do not have mosquito netting. Also there is safety concern in the main room - there is stairs that ends up as hole in a floor without railing. One of my gests fall into that hole when he step to TV
We took our annual trip with friends this year and the home was a wonderful retreat. It had everything that we required including 4 bedrooms with airconditioners, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful water view. The home is very comfy and spacious enough for a crowd. Smith Falls is the closest town with all facilities and groceries etc. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with all our queries. We truly appreciated that immensely. Thank you TGiang.
Well kept, clean premises which is well equipped. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs. We would definitely consider staying here again.
The house was clean, had everything we needed, host was very responsive and flexible. Is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Canada!
This house is just as advertised- beautiful water views, large grassy area for running around and playing, spacious parking and plenty of beds. The table easily seats 8 with another table outside for 6. The host was accommodating and quick to reply with all our requests. Would book again.
Perfect location for our entire family to stay for a family wedding. The host was excellent.....very easy to communicate with and very prompt.
Nice big house with a big back yard.
If you don't mind giving it a quick wipe when you arrive, it's a great spot for a family get together.
We loved the backyard view, if you like stargazing and fishing - night fishing is a good time. Large fish jump after twilight. The house is a vintage beauty, with modern conveniences. We’ll likely be back!
Lovely stay at this cottage, clean, spacious, many amenities. The backyard is very large, water was a bit marshy but still able to go in with kayaks and floaty. Great communication and experience from host.
Everything was great for our group. Well stocked cottage. The owners were very responsive and answered any questions quickly. Conveniently located. Unfortunately the water is not suitable for swimming with all the reeds but we had fun in the peddle boat and kayaks.

Very nice property. Spacious and quiet. Ideal for a quiet escape from the city. I wouldn't come here to party, but to have quiet time with family. House is a bit dated and could use some cosmetic repairs, but in general, it is as advertised.
Group of 5 adults stayed here. Plenty rooms with AC in most of them. Place was spacious. Hot tub was nice and all 5 fit in there. The water is essentially a pond or maybe classified as a marsh so it was too small to enjoy the boats (for us) but it made for a nice scenic setting. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would come back here for sure.
The property was lovely with kayaks, paddle boat, pool table & fooz ball.
A few small repairs are needed, especially the stove top, but still a great place. Wish the weeds weren't in the river, but that's not anyone's fault.
Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay.
The pictures look exactly like the house and the property is beautiful. Super spacious with tons of room to fit a big group of people. The backyard is gigantic and leads right to the water, almost like you have your own private "beach". The host, TGiang Tran, was also super easy to reach, communication was great. Overall my stay was amazing and I would definitely stay again! :)
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The setting is ideal and is perfect for canoeing, kayaking or relaxing with family and friends. The home is spacious, well-equipped and offers a stunning view of the water. It is private, quiet and easy to locate.
The host is extremely gracious, responsive and accommodating.
The river creek is narrow and is not set-up for swimming but it offers a number of other activities that include soaking in the hot tub, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, a huge deck for barbecues, a play area for children, a fire pit and the scenic town of Merickville is just 10 minutes away.
We recommend this waterfront retreat in Jasper and plan to stay here again.
