30th Anniversary Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I went to celebrate our 30yr anniversary. We’ve been coming to Canaan Valley for 31 years, been to several properties and different rentals. We wanted a new house with updated furnishings and Dreamers Nest did not disappoint. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, furnishings were beautiful, great appliances (top shelf) which we loved. Beautiful views of the mountains. What we did not love was the lack of privacy. This house advertises its on 81/2 acres however you would never know. There was a house in very close proximity to us which When driving into there driveway, you can see from our primary bathroom. Also there was a business which was honestly an eyesore on the opposite side of the home. So that was a HUGE disappointment and in a way misleading when we were looking for privacy. Also, could use a grill and a fire pit. Lastly, pillows were not comfortable, waaay too soft. Overall, it was a lovely stay, peaceful which is one thing we were looking for.

Great vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The location is great and pretty centralized to a lot of activities. The towns of Davis and Thomas are within 15 minutes that have cute shops and restaurants. There are many areas to hike that are close as well. We did go kayaking which was about 40 minutes away but so worth the trip. We ended our stay with a sunset horse ride and it was perfect and only a few minutes away. Would recommend a stay here!

Beautiful home and view

Home was beautiful. Had everything in the kitchen we could have wanted. View was beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay there! The location on VRBO is a bit misleading. I thought the property was going to be due east of Davis, but it is actually just off 32 a few miles south of Davis (where we were actually wanting to stay!). I almost didn’t rent it because of where I thought the location was. So glad I did. Perfect location and place.
