Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Courtenay
A quiet chalet, central, in the Walk-In, Alpine Village. The owners are full time residents on the upper floors. Short walks from parking and to the dog park. The Mogul Mansion’s Marten Nest is rustic with recycled and new finishes, it has high ceilings but is still cozy.
The bedroom has a queen lower bunk and upper twin.
True ski-in/ski out to Alpine or Nordic (minimal skating from Alpine)
You will enjoy the safe and friendly atmosphere of the Alpine Village. We have some snowshoes available for wanders. Bring your camera for taking photos of the stunning views.
Safe snowy play areas with few motorized vehicles as the Alpine Village is a walk-in village. Park in the Upper Henry lot and it’s a short meander to Mogul Mansion.

Double hot plate, air fryer -toaster oven, kettle, coffee Bodum, bar fridge, outdoor fridge. Smart TV and WiFi as well.

A dog is welcome but please be aware of the on leash strata 799 bylaw. Fortunately, the off leash dog park is quite close too!!! Please be aware that fireworks are also banned, and strictly enforced.

Cute, cozy and convenient
Had a lovely stay with my partner and pooch at the Marten's nest. Janine was organized and responsive and the suite was clean, cozy and had all the amenities needed for a stay on the slopes. We look forward to returning in the future! :)

Winter Stay
I had a great time with my family. Our host communicated well. I didn't quite understand the "walk in" part of the listing, so that was the only thing that I might have adjusted (I packed too much!), so bags are better than suitcases. Bed was comfortable, but I did bonk my head a few times. Everything was clean and the place felt cosy.

Great host and probably the best deal on the mountain
Text interactions with our host Janine were really helpful, cheery, and right away too. The suite is about an 8 minute walk from the main lodge and a five minute walk (uphill) from Parking Lot 3. The price is awesome compared to the other current offerings. Some things to note. The unusual bunk bed is a 53" double on the bottom, not a queen and the mattress has soft edges! You can slide the unit out from the wall so the back person can stand up and walk around. Until you find the light switch over the counter, you won't be able to read the controls on the induction two-burner stove. The mountain water from the taps is deliciously cold and the hot turns hot almost instantly. There's a good supply of pots and utensils but if you plan to cook, bring everything except salt & pepper. There's some cute decoration and Christmas lighting but you may find the two colour-changing night lights a bit much. You can unplug both and still have enough night vision. Don't wait for the last day to find the USB plug-in that's built into the wall plug behind the bed. Cell service is quite good at the cabin (Bell) despite what you may read on-line about Mt Washington.
