This house is extremely well appointed and presents beautifully. Communication with the host, Rosemary, was excellent. It is obvious that significant thought has gone into the design and layout of the house. We loved staying here and we will return in the future.

Perfect Easter Break

Great property for a long Easter weekend for my wife and three teenage boys. Proximity to Lake and use of kayaks were ace and great spot to walk to shops and Bowling club too. House and communication was spot on. Weather was excellent too ;)

Neat, comfy, fabulous location!

The house was very clean, well thought out spaces, and comfortable for our family. The location is second to none - stunning views over the lake, a short walk to shops and club, and easy access to other great spots on the coast. Great communication from the host, no stress, very easy. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Very comfortable place with a nice view

This recently renovated and thoughtfully equipped place was truly a pleasure to stay in. Great view, comfortable beds, Netflix and everything we needed to cook great meals together made for a great, easy holiday for two small families. The description is accurate, but was even better than expected.

Relaxing Amazing weekend

The property was in a beautiful location. Very comfortable with temeperature controls(fans and aircon) in every location. Very clean and modern. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again.

Beautiful view

The place is so nice and relaxing. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. Rosemary is very accommodating with regards to my questions. The place is new and everything you need is there already. We also enjoyed kayaking as the house includes a 4 kayaks to use with life vest. Walking distance with the shops, pharmacy, meat shop. All you need to enjoy your holidays. A view with a lake that is just walking distance and can do fishing as well. This place is a highly recommended ♥️♥️

Nice location- horrible experience

Rented the property for additional family members as we own a property in the street. From the minute we arrived neighbours were staring and constantly watching. One wanted a conversation when I just arrived and trying to unpack and she knew all my details. Day 2 ( Boxing Day) received an email from owner questioning car numbers and parking locations, this showed we were constantly being monitored. Most guests just moved out and slept on the floor at our property as we couldn’t relax being watched. Very disappointing given we paid over 400 a night, owners shouldn’t be renting it out if they are so paranoid about the property, people want to be left alone and relax. Too many rules, it was way over the top. Will never stay again, ruined our Xmas break.

Hello Lisa, It is disappointing to hear your stay was not enjoyable. I am sorry you didn't appreciate my neighbours good intentions. I will ask them in future to refrain from interacting with guests. As for being monitored, that is far from the truth. The house is in a residential area & is located on the Lake front that means all the homes across the street look over the house towards the Lake. Neighbours are merely going about their day to day lives. It's also the main road to the Club & shops; the footpath is on our side of the street so there are always passersby. It's not a huge suburb & as such everyone knows everyone & everything. My email was a courteous reminder of the house rule regarding parking on the lawn. As hosts we strive to make all guests stays as comfortable & enjoyable as possible. We take pride in offering a clean, functional, safe & well-maintained property, inside & out. We provide high quality bedding, linen & towels. If this makes us paranoid, then we make no apology. We care not only for current guests but those that follow. The house rules, which there are only a few, & the house description on the Vrbo/Stayz website clearly states what is & is not permitted during your stay. Guests agree to those rules when the booking is made. Previous guests have had no issues & have enjoyed their stays immensely. The cleaners & I would like to thank you for leaving the property clean, tidy & for putting the bins out for collection during your stay.
