At the heart of the heavenly setting of the creeks, a magnificent house on 3 large levels overlooking the sea with a 180 ° view of the cape Méjean and the islands of Friuli.
A long swimming pool dominates this superb panorama.
The Villa Cap Mejean, large house of over 260 m2, architecture and contemporary decor, warm and refined features 7 bedrooms, including a master suite. Almost all rooms have terraces and have a direct view of the sea.
The house has a large living room, living-dining room with a central staircase design, wide open on the terrace. It has a separate living room TV to the delight of young and older children.
Modern and fully equipped kitchen also extends onto a large terrace overlooking the sea and protected by a large umbrella pine for meals.
Numerous and spacious terraces overlooking the sea, on a sloping 1. 400m2 with a petanque, volleyball or badminton. A staircase allows direct access to the port and the small pebble beach with turquoise waters of the cove.
The garden and terraces are equipped with outdoor seating in teak, barbecue, hammocks and outdoor showers. Sea kayaks, fins, masks etc ... are freely available.
The house has private parking with an electric gate, Wi-Fi internet access, large screen TV, DVD player.
It is equipped with bed linen and towels, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee maker. robots, etc ...

Remarkable site of scuba diving and hiking the creek used to enjoy the Mediterranean and Provence. Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are within 30 minutes. A little further on, an hour's drive you can discover St Remy de Provence, Uzes or the Camargue.
The access car in the creeks reserved for the inhabitants the weekend of the summer, makes it possible to preserve this place of the tourist crowds even during the school holidays.

Ideal escape in the calanques

My family and friends had a great time in the villa. The property is ideally located close to the little Mejean harbor, which is great when taking the paddle board or kayaks to sea. We especially loved hanging on the large deck which offers a great view on the calanque and is perfect for group lunch and dinners.

magnifique maison avec vue sublime sur la mer

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au soleil, fin décembre. La maison est joliment décorée. L'agencement permet de respecter l'intimité de chacun et de se retrouver dans le grand espace, salon, salle à manger... Hôte accueillant, disponible et réactif non adaptée aux personnes âgées en difficulté de marche ou aux enfants en bas âges à cause du nombre de marches pour accéder et circuler dans la maison

A perfect stay

This was a lovely place to celebrate our new marriage with friends. We hired a chef the host recommended one night and we have a lovely time. There were a few little things that did not work but they were immediately fixed by the host. Severine’s responses were helpful and quick. If you can stay here do it!

Villa Cap Mejean is a unique wonderful magical place. I was there with my wife and 10 friends who were visiting the Marseilles area for the rugby world cup. Everyone had the most wonderful time and loved the venue. There is so much to do and everything is right there: Ocean, kayaking, paddle boarding, cute cafe, beautiful views, the list goes on. Also, Severine is an excellent host with fantastic instant communication. If you are considering staying in the area, the Villa will not dissapoint.

Pleasant stay

The house is tastefully decorated, although we spent most of our time outside on the wonderful main balcony. The plancha was great for preparing meals, which we ate at the outside dining table overlooking the water. The pool also has stunning views and was very warm, unlike the sea that was surprisingly cold. Miscellaneous comments and observations: The house has neither AC nor any fans. This was not a problem in the main living area, but at night in the bedrooms the choice was either be hot or open the windows and risk the mosquitoes. The walls of the upstairs bedrooms are quite thin. Be warned! It is not clear from the description, but one of the bedrooms downstairs is only accessible by going through another bedroom Bring beach shoes if you want to use the tiny beach. It is very rocky The last mile to the house is very narrow and may require backing up to allow other cars to pass, as such renting a smaller car is advisable. Also do not use a car with a low front spoiler as it will scrape the ground when entering the property There was no netball or badminton equipment as advertised, but not sure where we would have played if there was The canoe has a leak (we fixed it with duct tape) and the paddle boards needed inflating, but a local took pity on us and kindly lent us his pump. The location of the key box is described as being on the right of the front door when it is in fact on the left The wifi password is all lower case, unlike the instructions on VRBO

Un lieu exceptionnel, hors du temps!

Quel paradis, la maison de Séverine est un lieu de vacances idyllique comme il en existe très peu...! Perchée dans une calanque très calme, accès direct à la mer (avec en prime tous les accessoires nécessaires pour s'amuser). Nous avions loué un bateau qui a pu nous récupérer juste devant la maison, le rêve! La maison est très fonctionnelle et il y a plein d'espaces différents (pétanque, terrasse, solarium, piscine), de quoi ravir tout le monde - j'y reviendrai :)

Maison et cadre magnifique

Nous avons passé un fabuleux week-end dans la merveilleuse maison de Séverine. La maison est très bien équipée avec à disposition des équipements de loisirs divers et variés. Il s’agit d’un petit coin de paradis. Séverine s’est montré disponible, arrangeante et bienveillante. Je recommande fortement !

Excellent séjour

Très beau lieu préservé du bruit et de l’agitation touristique. Maison de charme en terrasses avec une vue magnifique où tout a été bien pensé. Beaucoup de goût dans la décoration sans rien d’ostentatoire. Cuisine bien équipée dont nous avons largement pu profiter. La propriétaire est charmante et très réactive. On sent qu’elle aime sa maison. Sa confiance et sa gentillesse ont apporté un plus à notre séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Un vrai bonheur

Une maison sublime dans un cadre exceptionnel ! La vue sur la calanque est tout simplement magnifique. On apprécie également le calme du lieu, dont l’accès est limité uniquement aux résidents en haute saison. La piscine, le terrain de pétanque, ainsi que l’accès direct à la mer sont un vrai plus. La maison est très bien équipée pour les grands groupes. Un grand merci à Séverine qui a toujours été disponible lors de notre séjour !

Un weekend magique

Une vue à couper le souffle, une maison pleine de recoins, bien aménagée, des espaces extérieurs variés avec une piscine, des terrasses très agréables, et un terrain de pétanque formidable, des chambres agréables avec vue, une cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut pour bien cuisiner... Difficile de quitter ce lieu idyllique.

Sublime maison et accueuil attentionné

La maison est sublime et idéalement située, donnant une vue imprenable sur la calanque. La cuisine est hyper bien équipée pour cuisiner, et la vaisselle a disposition est magnifique ce qui est rare dans les locations donc d'autant plus appréciable! Tous les différents espaces sont adaptés aux grands groupes. Séverine la propriétaire s'est montré d'une aide immense pour préparer notre arrivée, et toujours disponible pendant notre séjour. Je ne peux que recommander chaudement la location de cette exceptionnelle villa.

Fabulous, tranquil, and scenic getaway with family!

If you were looking for a place to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy the beautiful serenity and spectacular views of the Calangues n France, this is a fabulous choice!! The three story home is zoned beautifully for family get together meals but private enough for families to stretch out and have privacy. Experience nature in its finest form at this lovely location! Fun for every age and stage! So relaxing and beautiful and the hiking was extraordinary! Easy drive into Marseille. It was the family getaway that we all needed and enjoyed!
