Pretty bedrooms on both floors have access to beautiful bathrooms; a queen suite also has a queen sofa sleeper, TV, and deck access, making it an ideal space for a small family. Your pups are welcome too! At the end of a day filled with beachcombing, fishing, boating on Lake Lytle, riding the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, and shopping and dining in Rockaway, you’ll be glad to settle into your own private hot tub on the privacy-fenced deck. The next day you’ll feel rested and ready for exploring more of the North Oregon Coast—a delightful day trip from Rockaway and the Salty Salmon!

Awesome

House was close to beach. Hot tub was a welcome addition. Could have had more electrical outlets in bedrooms. Overall a great place and we will come back!

Extended Family Gathering

This was a great home for our family to gather on the coast. We used it as a base for our celebration of life for my dad and it had enough space for 7 kids, 5 adults, and 2 dogs. Heads up though there are a LOT of stairs so for those with difficulties this might be limiting, like it was for my elderly mother and sister with MS. But the town of Rockaway is wonderful and the beach was really close.

Great Place for Families to Get Together

Rockaway is a great place to get to the beach and relax with family. This house has such a great location. We could walk to the beach in about 2 minutes and all of the kids loved being to explore for miles in both directions. The hot tub was glorious when the weather wasn't perfect or if we spent some time in the ocean. My kids enjoyed playing with the games and toys when they couldn't be on the beach, as well as the rooms with bunk beds so that they could enjoy more time with cousins. I loved being able to watch the ocean from the upstairs and he view even made doing the dishes more enjoyable. I liked that there is a mix of rooms and beds to allow for even extended family to have their space when we get together. I also appreciated that things were labeled in the kitchen and that there were plastic dishes for my littles (one less thing for me to worry about).
