Nice place to stay
We enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy and clean. Check in was easy. The only minor complaint, if you can even call it that, was that a broom, dust pan, mop or vacuum were not available for use. Other than that, the place was great and we'd stay again if we were in the area.
This property was great! I had a couple unanswered emails from host and the one bed is uncomfortable. But other than that, we are going to keep renting while my child is in college. Very comfortable and family friendly.

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Well equipped except for. Couple of items in the kitchen which I passed along to the landlord. Nice linens in BR and bathroom.
The house was exactly as described and was as nice as it looked in the photos. The property contact was very responsive and communicated well. Beds were comfy, plenty of linens available, kitchen well stocked, and all appliances and fixtures are updated. This was originally planned for my three adult sons to stay, but I ended up staying there several nights. Was a great location to visit family in Cromwell. We stayed 10 nights and would highly recommend.
A very joyous event made so much easier because of the proximity to Campus…Niel’s Donuts…the Big Y fabulous grocery store and Ace Hardware for Packing boxes. The house had everything needed and was extremely clean and neat. A truly lovely VRBO experience. Many thanks to all

From the owner: "Thank you, Deb. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!"
We had a great stay at the beautifully remodeled unit.
Place was clean with everything we needed.
There is a family who lives in the upper unit and it is very easy to hear people walking around upstairs, only would bother if your a light sleeper. Other than that a great stay.
Nice, roomy clean with all the basic appliances. Looks like newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Manager Theo very nice to work with. Needed to drive to Wesleyan (instead of walking), but very close and easy. I enjoyed the short walk to Dunkin’ for coffee in the morning. Nice park with basketball courts around the block if you have kids. I would definitely stay again if going there with a group.
The apartment is clean and bright -- especially the big kitchen.
It all has a relaxing, happy feel. Everything was brand new and worked perfectly.
Beds were very comfortable. Laundry room was very handy. Huge TV in the living room was fun for evening movies. Double sink in the bathroom was also handy when my daughter and I were getting ready at the same time!
Check-in and owner communication were easy and friendly. Location is convenient to Wesleyan and Middletown, restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Taino Smokehouse (less than a block away) and Harrie's Jailhouse (a few blocks away).
Loved staying here!
We've found that the homes that we usually stay in have window units and floor heating, so we loved having central air/heat after we figured out how to change the settings so that the temperature would stop changing at timed intervals. The lockbox to retrieve the key was slightly difficult to open and requires two hands, but still manageable after a few tries. Very easy access to main roads and all necessary stops such as groceries and gas. House was well appointed with lots of cookware, spices (we added some, as well as cooking spray,) and utensils. TV in one of the bedrooms was a nice addition. The beds and pillows are so comfy that I almost offered to buy them. We come to CT every year to visit my stepson and usually stay at the same two properties, based on availability. We will now be booking earlier to ensure that we can stay here. Only complaint is that on the first night, the upstairs occupants walked around a lot in the middle of the night, and the floors creak. They weren't stomping at all, just creaking wood that woke us up. We didn't have neighbors the rest of our stay. My only suggestion would be to stock more TP for extended stay guests, and provide instructions for the shower and thermostat. My first encounter with a bath faucet like that... took a minute or two to figure out how to switch to shower from bath water. Overall a super stay!
