Historic 2 Story Home w/ Balcony, Parking on Calhoun Square by Lucky Savannah

Built in 1856, this stately historic home has been fully restored and renovated to have all the modern conveniences with the charm of original heart-pine floors and brick fireplaces (decorative only now). Located just north of Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest green space, Cotton Manor has everything you’ll need for a truly luxurious stay in the Hostess City.

Large windows throughout the home let in an abundance of natural light with plantation shutters for privacy. The open dining and living space has plenty of comfortable seating, so you can relax after a day of sightseeing or plan your next adventure. The galley-style kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a double oven. The first floor of the home includes a full bath and half bath.

Two bedrooms are upstairs, along with two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a King sized bed with beautiful solid wood frame, floor-to-ceiling windows that open to the balcony, and an ensuite bath. The windows are a lingering architectural detail from a time when Savannahians were taxed by how many doors their home had. The second bedroom has comfortable a Queen-sized sleigh bed to curl up in after a long day of exploring Savannah. The second bathroom sits just outside the door in the hallway. The third bedroom can be found just off of the living room, that features a comfortable murphy bed, and access to the front courtyard.

This home is perfect for those who want to explore the city by foot. A short walk north through Calhoun Square will take you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. No matter which direction you choose, you’ll be in the heart of all Savannah has to offer.

Perfect get away

Short stay with friends from college. The house was perfect. Walking distance to downtown area and Forsyth park. Lovely sitting area outside where we were able to hang and catch up with one another. Property manager was wonderful, and two parking spots made it a hassle free trip. Would definitely recommend this lovely home.

Great location for our group

The check in process was easy. The home was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Fun to be able to walk to a grocery store or walk around the squares or down to the river. Everywhere we wanted to go seemed accessible by foot. Savannah is beautiful and we loved our stay at Cotton Manor.

Perfect place for a Savannah weekend

This is the perfect little house in every way. You can walk to anything you want to do I’m downtown Savannah, have drinks or coffee on the sweet courtyard and there’s enough space for everybody to take some time away from each other when needed. Ok too if that the management company responded immediately even though it was a weekend. We will definitely make this our go to place in Savannah💕

Great area in walking distance to all the sights, beautiful outdoor area to relax, the only problem we had was during the week it was not quiet or relaxing due to construction next door ( understand that it won’t go on forever but for the price we paid that was my gripe). But overall this historic home was gorgeous!

Dream stay in Savannah

Perfect location. Central to shops and squares. My family traveled from all areas of US to gather for 2 birthdays. Staying in one beautiful house with a nice courtyard instead of multiple hotel rooms was a great call. We were able to spend time together in one place. The property management was equally impressive. Kept in touch and made the process very user friendly. We will be back!

Great location!

Great location. The trolley stops right across the street. The house was so charming. Only complaint is there is construction going on right next door. Do don’t expect to sleep past 7am. They are there at 7 on the dot and the dryer does not work. Other than that it was a very great experience.

Family of 6 for two nights

The house is beautiful and the location is great! The outdoor area was really nice but unfortunately we couldnt use it much because we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Would definitely recommend adding citronella candles outside for guests. The showers in the bathrooms were wonderful and there seemed to be unlimited hot water. Probably a tankless heater. The sofa bed is shot. It was barely sleepable for my two young daughters and when we opened it up it was dirty. The metal is bent and sharp and mattress is pathetic. Property owners definitely need to replace it. Overall, good stay though!

We absolutely loved our stay in this historic, beautiful home. It is in a great location. We could walk almost all of the sites. It is very close to Forsyth Park. The home has a great patio that we enjoyed eating dinners and having wine. The home has its own parking space which is great. We started our stay with a private walking tour through Noble Jones which was so informative. We visited the museums and toured the homes that were open during COVID. We are had 2 fabulous dinners out at Local 11ten and Common Thread. We drove to Bonaventure Cemetery which was quite beautiful with the azaleas in bloom. We are nature lovers and took day trips to Pinckney Island on Hilton Head and Skidaway Park. Unfortunately, the Savannah National Wildlife refuge 4 mile drive loop will be closed for a year. Savannah is a charming town and staying in this home just added to our enjoyment. We hope to return someday.

Great location! We could walk to Forsyth Park, and many other spots. We enjoyed all the rooftop bars on River Street, but we did Uber to those. The construction next-door did get us up at 7 AM, but they ended early and we were able to enjoy the patio each evening. It’s lovely

Excellent location & plenty of room

We had 4 adults,2 kids under 12 staying here 4 nights. We did not feel cramped at all. We enjoyed our morning coffee & evening wine sitting out back on the beautiful patio, the fountain & string lights were a nice touch adding to the ambiance. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. The air condition worked great, the house stayed very cool while it was 92 and high humidity the whole time. The house & rooms look just like the pictures online. The house was clean. The kitchen could use a new no stick frying pan. The bathrooms could use a few more wash cloths & hand towels. Other then that, we had no complaints. We would definitely return

3 Girlfriends in 1 perfect accommodation!

3 senior girlfriends - 2 first time visitors to Savanah. This property met and exceeded our time in this city. 3 br/3bath set up was wonderfulBeautiful home and loved the back patio space. Very clean with cozy bathroom and kitchen supplies. The location was great. Could walk to a lot and if not, an inexpensive Uber ride was always handy. Customer service was outstanding. I lost a sentimental item and they were about to find it for me during our stay which was very much appreciated. Would book this anytime I travel to Savanah.

Tons of small seating areas to relax and the outside space with water fountain made for an extremely tranquil and fun place to hang out in the mornings and evenings. The place was a short walk to everything we wanted to do. We appreciated the list of recommendations. We will be back! Absolutely loved this place!Extra bonus that the rental property was very communicative and the place had clear instructions on how to get into the place. We did it need it, but 2 parking spots as well!
