Beautiful fenced- in backyard. Huge deck with a grill. Plenty of parking space. They have a very long covered front porch and lots of lush trees and deer families . There is a gorgeous private lake with a small beach & Restaurant about a mile away. We really enjoyed the outdoor waterpark at the Quarry. The home has plenty of space . Bring your own beach towels and bath towels if you plan to stay for longer than a couple of days. They do have a washer & dryer in the basement . We stayed for 8 days and there is 1 bath towel & wash cloth per person . We will stay again !

Harpers Ferry Cabin

The property was just as expected and fit our needs for a few days of relaxation in the Harpers Ferry area. Nicely appointed with comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, big yard and fire pit, and a quiet residential neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others in that area.

Hiking Retreat

We enjoyed relaxing on the front and back porches after a day of hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The kitchen was well stocked to cook our meals and the large dinning table provided a place to gather and share our daily adventures. Comfortable beds, hot showers and laundry made for a great hiking retreat with friends.

Harper’s Ferry

House was well stocked and beds were comfortable. House had a musty smell throughout and there were numerous bees on the interior and exterior. Beautiful setting!

Nice respite

The house is older but was clean and had everything we needed (except a colander for draining spaghetti noodles). The beds were comfortable. There’s a cute beach close by with a lake to swim or boat, $8 a day for adults and $5 a day for kids. Very enjoyable and easy booking and check in.

Not one complaint!

This home is very well kept and clean. Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there and there were some very nice touches. The yard was a dream for my daughter’s city dog. Location was great for exploring the area. The only downside would be the neighborhood roads. They would be challenging at night but were fine in the day. Highly recommended!

Cleanliness: 100% had no problem with this home being clean. We felt comfortable walking barefoot, using the towels provided, and felt all kitchen supplies were properly maintained.The home has a really good energy and is simple in layout. It is located on an unpaved road which was not an issue at all. The backyard is completely fenced in with a small stream of water running along the back fence area. Deer everywhere and sightings are multiple daily. We brought two dogs and the house is spacious enough to accommodate.Special touches: bathroom came supplied with essentials like body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, bandaids, and lotion. Kitchen has a cabinet full of spices, flour, sugar, regular coffee mate coffee maker with a drawer full of filters, tons of pots, pans, bowls, and utensils. They also provide a cute basket of snacks and some bottled water. Plus doggie beds and bowls in the basement.Surrounding area: neighbors keep to themselves, you hear roosters throughout the day, dogs barking, see DEER, and bug spray is a must. A cute country store for quick essentials 5 minutes down the road as everything else is minimum 15 minutes away.Not negatives just additional observation: low water pressure in the shower if you care a lot about that.We really had such a cozy, comfy, and care free stay. Even finished a 1000 piece puzzle (with one piece missing!). Great house! Thank you so much!

Hapers Ferry Cabin Review

I stayed for a week and my parents joined me for a few days. The home was great! The property was as expected from the photos - spacious rooms, a nice front porch, big back deck and yard. Check in and check out were very easy. Its very quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for. This proprty is about 15 min from Harpers Ferry, Charlestown, and Martinsburg. Tons of vineyards in the area, river fun, lots of out doors stuff close by. I really enjoyed my rereat here!
