The Lucien: Historic Condo in Heart of Brush Park
🏛 Historic Charm – 19th-century HGTV-renovated mansion. 📍 Prime Spot – Walk to Whole Foods, stadiums & museums. 🛏 Spacious & Stylish – 2 queens, 2 baths & designer decor. 🚴 Wellness Ready – Peloton & yoga mats. 🔑 Easy Check-In – Self check-in with a unique code.
The Lucien S. Moore Mansion was famously saved from ruin and rebuilt by HGTV and has been converted into six apartments. This walk-up unit is located on the second floor of the house. It features exposed brick, new wood floors, high recessed tray ceiling, and street facing bay windows. It was recently completely reworked by a local Detroit designer to honor its long legacy with an emphasis on capturing the excitement of Detroit’s remarkable revival.
This nearly 1400 square foot Brush Park condo is unique as it features two queen-sized beds in spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one of which is connected to the master bedroom. It has a subscription-active Peloton for guest use. The kitchen includes a gas stove, a wet bar with wine fridge, updated stainless steel appliances and all of the cookware and utensils you’ll need during your stay. If you are in need of food supply, no worries! Whole Foods is only a 10 min walk away.
If a more relaxing visit is in order you will be greeted by 4k smart-tv’s in both the bedroom and the living room. If looking for fun that doesn’t require a plug, playing cards and board games are included!
The walk-up apartment (unit #5) is all yours! The unit is on the second floor so it’s important to note there is no elevator. Please do not attempt to access any other units in the house.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lucein. It so special to stay in a home with so much history. We walked over to Mom's Spaghetti and walked by every big venue in Detroit. The walk was maybe 7min tops. 100% would stay again. Everything was very clean, carming and tidy. We could not find a single negative about the property.

Great location for walking to Comerica, Ford Field and Little Caesar’s Arena. The rehabilitation that this area is experiencing is just amazing. Many historical buildings have been saved from the wrecking ball. This condo is comfortable and cozy. Nicely appointed and updated. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Convenient coffee and or cocktail bar area. Wine cooler is a nice touch. The only negative in my opinion is a common one in vacation rentals and that is uncomfortable furniture. I get it but…. After a day of taking in the city it would be nice to come back and sip a cocktail or two in comfort. Overall nicely done! I would stay again. Thanks Chris!
