INSIDE
Inside, the home is beautifully appointed and offers plenty of space for everyone. The large open kitchen has plenty of prep space and storage with everything you would need to prepare your family favorites. The farmhouse table seats 8, and the live-edge breakfast bar seats 3 more. The main floor living room is bright and open, perfect for the family to connect. The lower level Game room is great for cuddling up and watching movies on the SmartTVs, and there's a poker table, ping pong table, air hockey and basketball for extra fun.

The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, each with their own unique charm. The premier bedroom even has a honeymoon deck for some private time with morning coffee or a glass of wine and a book..
Main Floor Premier bedroom with King Bed and 4 piece ensuite is perfect for mom and dad to truly enjoy their stay and relax. Step out of the master bedroom through the beautiful french doors onto a honeymoon deck

OUTSIDE
Lakeside Layover offers plenty of outdoor amenities to keep you and your guests entertained. Enjoy grilling some steaks on the BBQ grill sharing meals the outdoor dining table. The large yard is perfect for playing games like cornhole and ladderball, or shooting hoops on the basketball net. You'll also have access to 2 16” bicycles and 2 scooters, as well as 2 kayaks and a paddleboard with life jackets. Relax in a comfortable chair around the fire pit and enjoy smores and ghost stories. Take a stroll on the beach or go for a paddleboard on the lake, take the family for ice cream up town, this place is setup for fun!!
Plus, we've recently added an electric heated sauna for you to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Step inside and let the warmth envelop you, easing away the stresses of the day.

NOTE: Lake access is steps away on Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Parking is limited to 4 vehicles

Linens are available for $20/person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections. May have outside front door camera) Max occupancy at all times is 10, violation will result in removal without refund.

Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:
❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two.
❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.
