The Van Zant House Hideaway|2 Queens|Kitchen|Nook

This 2 bedroom unit in an historic home is the childhood home of the Van Zant family, including Lynyrd Skynyrd founder Ronnie Van Zant. The epic rise to fame of the original version of Lynyrd Skynyrd was tragically cut short by a plane crash in 1977 that took Ronnie's life, and that of several other members of the band. Two bedrooms, a jack and jill bathroom, a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen round our this charming unit!

Moldy house

This house requires contractual mold irradiation. I believe it is in the walls. It triggered respiratory issues that took several days to recover from.

We clearly post in the listing that people with sensitive allergies should not rent this unit. While there may be some occasional must and mildew issues due to the large size of the unit and extreme summer heat/moisture, there is no mold, and making such a statement can be considered libelous, since you offer no proof, only speculation. We do now have an air purifier in the unit, and it monitors airborne pollutants, and the readouts on this system show very low levels of pollutants, which are constantly being scrubbed. Next time, read the description before booking. The vast majority of our guests have no issues there.
