Perfectly positioned between the coast and countryside, Marie’s Rest is only a short drive from beautiful South Coast beaches, the Tomaga River, Mogo Wildlife Park and the popular Mogo Trails, making it an ideal base for beach days, mountain biking adventures or simply slowing down and enjoying the peaceful surrounds.



The Space:

Welcome to Marie’s Rest – a spacious coastal-country retreat where there is plenty of room for the whole family.



At the heart of the home is the generous open-plan living and dining area, complete with comfortable lounges, a large dining table and a full-size snooker table – perfect for a little friendly competition after a day exploring the coast.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for family stays, with an oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and coffee machine. Wi-Fi, air conditioning and laundry facilities add to the convenience, particularly for longer stays.



Step outside and you’ll find one of Marie’s Rest’s biggest drawcards – the private in-ground swimming pool. The adjoining alfresco area and gas BBQ make it easy to enjoy relaxed summer afternoons by the pool followed by dinner outdoors.

A fire pit is also available on request, creating a lovely place to gather on cooler evenings, subject to weather conditions and local fire restrictions.



Set on peaceful acreage, the property is surrounded by nature and local wildlife. Kangaroos, native birds and other wildlife are regularly seen around the area, adding to the relaxed rural atmosphere.

And on certain quiet mornings, you may even hear the distant roar of the lions from nearby Mogo Wildlife Park – a unique reminder of just how special this part of the South Coast is.

The home accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, including children.



Linen and bath towels are provided.



Guest Access:

Guests have use of the home, private swimming pool and designated outdoor areas during their stay.



Free parking is available at the property.



For check-in, we will meet you at the property on arrival. This gives us the opportunity to show you through the home, explain anything you may need to know and answer any questions before you settle in and begin enjoying your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Marie’s Rest enjoys a peaceful semi-rural setting near Tomakin while remaining only minutes from some of the Eurobodalla Coast’s beautiful beaches and attractions.



Spend your days exploring Tomakin Beach, Barlings Beach, Mossy Point and Broulee, enjoy swimming, kayaking or paddling around the Tomaga River, or head into nearby Mogo for cafés, boutique shopping and the popular Mogo Wildlife Park.



For mountain biking enthusiasts, Marie’s Rest also makes a perfect base for exploring the Mogo Trails. Spend the day riding the extensive trail network before returning to the property for a swim, BBQ, game of snooker or a relaxing evening around the fire pit.



The surrounding acreage and bushland attract plenty of native wildlife and birdlife, so don’t be surprised to see kangaroos nearby or wake to the sounds of birds in the morning.



And occasionally, when the morning is quiet, you may even hear the distant lions at Mogo Wildlife Park announcing the start of the day.



Other Things to Note:

• Maximum occupancy is strictly 10 guests, including children.

• Pets are not permitted.

• Children must be supervised at all times around the swimming pool.

• A fire pit is available on request and is subject to weather conditions and local fire restrictions.

• As the property is set in a semi-rural environment, native wildlife, insects and other animals may occasionally be seen around the grounds.

• Please respect the peaceful surroundings and neighbouring properties by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum, particularly in the evenings.



Interaction with Guests:

We want you to feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment you arrive.



We will meet you at the property for check-in to help you settle in, show you through the home and answer any questions before leaving you to enjoy your stay.



Please note that the owners live in the residence located next door to the holiday property. Guests still have their own accommodation and privacy throughout their stay, while having the added reassurance of someone nearby if assistance is required.



Our management team is also available throughout your stay should you need anything.
