LOCATION - 2.5 miles north of Main Street
HOST - There are 4 buildings on the property, a main house (La Casa) & 3 smaller structures (Casitas). In total these 4 buildings sleep up to 22 people.
SLEEPS - Up to 22 persons in 10 bedrooms; the main house (La Casa) has 3 king bedrooms & one bedroom with queen bunkbeds, each of the 3 casitas has two king bedrooms
BATH - 3 full bathrooms in the main house (2 bathrooms have a shower/tub combo & the other has a walk-in shower) while each of the casitas has 1.5 bathrooms (full bath has a walk-in shower)
KITCHEN - Fully equipped kitchens with traditional coffeemakers in both the main house and the casitas
BREAKFAST - No breakfast; coffee and tea are provided
AMENITIES - Smart TVs throughout the house with ROKU (70” in the living area & 65” in the gameroom), WiFi, wood burning fireplace (wood not provided), swimming pool, hot tub, gameroom, patio with seating & gas grill, indoor & outdoor games including horseshoe pit, corn hole, dart board & poker table off street parking; the casitas each have their own fire pits and hot tubs, extra folding table available in the bunk room closet in La Casa

Things to be aware of:
- The home's television only includes free channels offered through Roku. As a result, if you want to watch live television or a program from a subscription service, you will need to bring your own log in information from home with you.
- The home has security cameras facing both the parking lot and front porch.

The pool depth ranges from 3.5 to 5.5 feet.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

La Casa & casitas celebration

Great spaces for a group of 11 celebrating a milestone birthday. Great location, close to town but at a nice distance to give it a country feel.

Family Weekend

La Casa & Casitas worked out great for our family weekend. We had 17 people. Plenty of beds & bathrooms. Between the pool & all the activities around Fredericksburg, we definitely did not get bored. Would love to stay here again.

Location was great! Cleanliness was ok, for the most part things were pretty clean but there were definitely areas that were missed. Coffee makers were the slowest and not acceptable for people wanting more than 1 cup in the morning in a short period of time. Some lights did not work. Pillowcases on some beds were missing. Pool was full of leaves. Very good setup for large group.

Great Rental

We had our entire family 8 adults with 4 kids stay at the property for a long weekend. The house was great and our kids loved the casitas for privacy with each of their families. Enjoyed the pool and the property was perfect for us. Location is close enough to town that it only took a few minutes to shop/eat. How is well maintained with lots of amenities.

Excellent Service

Tanya and Andrew from Gastehaus Schmidt were extremely helpful with any issues we had, mostly housekeeping. Our family, young and old alike, had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tubs were amazing. Tip: If you are planning to sleep younger children in the bunk room, be aware it is on the far side of the house from the other rooms. Also, two of the king bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen was fun! Wifi worked great. Beds were comfy. Limited hot water and water pressure in the casitas. The big house had great water pressure and hot!
