Lovely little cabin

We stayed there two nights and one full day. The space was more than merely comfortable. We found a BBQ place nearby and brought part of our feast back with us. We hope to return for a longer stay in the near future.

Very convenient

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well taken care of. It is just a few minutes from Cook Forest. We were able to have a fire outside to enjoy the evening. We will return to this place.

Cozy and Convenient

Cute, clean cabin! Easy to find and convenient to Cook Forest attractions and trails. Nice quiet neighborhood and we woke to deer in the yard two of the three days we were there. Safe and secure, but not secluded and not private since there are cameras in the back and front yard.

Cottage was amazing and decorated so cute. We were very comfortable and slept quite soundly. The back porch was where we spent most of our time since we like to be outside. We found some firewood in our travels and had a bonfire. Great location right on the edge of cooks forest park. Cooked up some steaks on the grill provided. We just had a wonderful, peaceful weekend in the woods! Thanks for a pleasant time.

Bear Season

The camp is located in a great spot for hunting the National Forest and State Game Lands 29 are all a short drive. The inside has all you need for a fantastic stay. The inside is warm, welcoming and exceptionally clean. I will certainly try to rent again next year. Thanks to all.

Everything was fine except, only a 5 cup coffee maker, short on pots and pans(bring your own), no tea pot for boiling water, and they should inform the renters that there are camera's outside not pointing at the doors but actually watching you while you are in the back yard. I understand security but I thought that would be on the doors not in the back and front yards. Felt like we had no privacy while outside.

Happy Campers!

My fellow Mom of Twins friend and I had not met up face to face in 24 years! We needed a special place! This cabin was perfect and lived up to expectations! Clean and cozy, comfortable and cute, it had it all! Loved making s’mores on the fire pit in back. The rocking chairs on the back porch perfect for morning coffee, cozy living room for long chats, comfortable beds and 2 bedrooms which was exactly what we needed! Only request I would ask, add mirrors in the bedrooms, makes it easier to get ready in the morning, (smile) but that’s ok we shared the bathroom mirror! Loved this cozy cottage, memories were made, and we will be back for another visit soon!

A Peaceful Retreat in the Heart of Cook Forest

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Cook Forest! The moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a tranquil paradise. The cottage was cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were simply breathtaking - the cottage was nestled among towering trees, and the sounds of nature were the only ones we heard during our stay. We spent our rainy days enjoying my daughter’s dance showcase, hiking through the beautiful trails of Cook Forest, exploring, and relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere. Amanda is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, this cottage is the PERFECT choice.
