Summary:
This home is nestled in a native bush setting, which provides a lot of privacy but don't be fooled by how close walking tracks, the beach and the shops area.

The Space:
With a short walk to access the Surf Coast walking track and a 500m walk into Anglesea shops, this property is the ideal location for the adventurous or the laidback traveler. This sunny three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is perfect for a family and new parents with access to a highchair, porta cot, play pen and change table. All bedrooms have a reverse cycle heating and cooling making it a super comfortable stay no matter what time of year. The kitchen is gallery style and is perfect for entertaining the kids or guests while they lounge in living room or sit at the dining table. In the kitchen there is also a Nespresso pod machine available for use. The house has plenty of outdoor features for use such as an outdoor deck in prime sunny position, a woodfired pizza oven, gas BBQ and has a lockable small dog yard.

Great house, shame about the garden

The inside of the property was clean, neat & tidy with everything one could need. However, the outside was dirty, dusty with leaf debris everywhere. There was no firewood left on the property.

No towels or bedsheets!

Read the fine print and check the pictures! The beds have doonas with covers but after that no sheets and no towels provided. Further down in the property description it says no linen... For the price of the property this is simply misaligned. Great Ocean Retreats helped us out (thanks team!) but clearly they are aware of the customer understanding gap with the pre trip message highlighting this lack of property feature. Inside was clean however outside was very poor. It is a bush setting so not expecting clean (love a relaxed atmosphere), but tables and chairs were simply filthy with no effort made to prepare for a customers stay. Again simply misaligned to the price of the property.
