Located between the Ka'anapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, museums, restaurants, and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whalers Village, Papakea is a 13 acre tropical oceanfront resort with the true aloha feeling of Maui.

This lovely tropical resort, situated on the north side of Ka'anapali Beach is close to shopping, restaurants and walking trails - a perfect family condo fro small family or couple. It is also fully furnished to meet all of your vacation needs including towels, linens, beach towels, toiletry starters, laundry and detergent starters, paper towels and toilet paper. This unit has been stocked with everything you will need to prepare your meals or just kick back and enjoy the ocean breeze right from your lanai! Air conditioning is provided in the living/dining/kitchen area along with a stackable washer and dryer for those small but necessary laundry needs!

Take a long stroll along the sandy beach or enjoy the two pools, both with Jacuzzis - See for yourself why we say 'Maui No Ka oi'... Maui is the best!

Papakea Resort collects a Resort fee of $25.00 per day payable upon arrival.

Lovely property with great views and amenities

We stayed at this property with our new born baby and our parents. We couldn’t have asked for more! The views from the condo were great, all essentials were provided to us in the unit including beach towels, beach umbrellas, chairs etc. The location was perfect since it wasn’t far from Kaanapali, Kapalua, Napili beaches and the food trucks were right outside the property. The check in and check out process was smooth. We are already thinking when to come back here :)

Dazzling sunsets.

We couldn't have picked a better location for our stay in Maui. We had a west view and each night enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. The unit was clean and supplied everything we needed and more. Great access to the water, pool, and parking. Beds were very comfortable. Weather was warmer than normal, but the A/C and fans kept us comfortable. The location made it easy to hop on the road to check out Lahaina and other destinations. Each night there are 8-10 food trucks a block away for a quick bite. All 4 of us were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend others to stay here.

Bottom floor ocean front!

I did some research before booking this property, we wanted bottom floor, ocean front and 2 bedroom, and there is not a lot of options out there. The resort grounds are well kept, the unit is dated but clean, and the location was walkable to a ton of food options and the grocery store. This unit is oceanfront but not beach front, which was fine for us. There is a beach at the neighbor hotels, but we drove to the beaches we wanted to visit. The hotel next door which is literally like a 1 min walk has good food all day, a good happy hour and entertainment most nights by the pool. The pools at Papakea were clean , warm and we never had to worry about getting a place to sit. I think the best part was the parking, we could park near our room, so it was easy getting loaded in and out with our crew. We would definitely stay here again, I didn't want to leave.

Papakea is a beautiful property extremely well maintained, in a great location, amazingly clean and the staff is very helpful! Unit L103 not so much! The photos as shown in the Vrbo listing is not the furniture that is in the unit. Everything is very old the rug was extremely dirty and the furniture dressers carpet all smelled very dirty and musty! We will absolutely go back to Papakea, but not unit L103 until it gets a makeover. We have stayed in a few other units that have been beautiful and clean!

Lovely oceanfront condo

My husband and I enjoyed our three nights in this unit. The proximity to restaurants and beach paths was a plus. There was plenty of room for just two of us and the layout of the condo was great. We especially enjoyed walking out the slider to our patio and the grass area overlooking the Pacific. Check in and checkout were easy. There was a little confusion on WiFi; check the fridge for the password. And the two TVs were on different systems and took some figuring out. But those were minor issues.

What an amazing view! The unit open right onto the ocean. My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay and enjoyed watching sunsets and sipping coffee on the patio by the waves. Very clean unit in a nice resort.

The location was great, just steps away from the ocean. The resort grounds were very well kept. The pool is a great alternative to going to the beach. The unit was very clean and offered most basic comforts of a home. Would stay there again.

The property is wonderful location with a sand beach out the back door. Grounds are very beautiful with flowering plants. Just walking distance for morning coffee. Has a nice pool and nice tennis courts. Only issue was air conditioning unit was weak hard to keep the unit cool during the day.

First time staying on this side of the island. Condo was great. Lots of activists surrounding the property. Surfing, off roading, zip lining, golf…. Pool was great for BBQing and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful
